I pray that you don't believe that God has given you nothing. Those lies come from Satan. He gave you forgiveness when He died on the cross. I imagine He has given you food, shelter, family, friends. A lot of times we are surrounded with the blessing of luxuries that many people may not realize are luxuries. Clean, running water & plumbing itself is a blessing. Sometimes God does not answer our prayers the way we think is best, but He will answer them the way He KNOWS is best. Sometimes He may not answer our prayers when WE want Him to, but rather when HE knows is best. There is a song called "Unanswered Prayers" that may not apply to your particular situation, but the message is clear: "Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers."
Everyday God is refining us like silver to be better people. He is preparing us for Heaven, not for our earthly desires. I pray that you will put your energy & focus on HIM above all else. He wants you for the long-term, not the short-term. Let Jesus Christ fill your void, not the potential of a husband. God may bless you with a husband when HE knows it's the right time & the right man... but until then and ALWAYS, let yourself be married to Christ. He wants you more than you want a husband or car because He LOVES you. I KNOW IT IS HARD. No matter whether black, white, hispanic, asian, tall, short. We ALL struggle with similar desires... But remember, this life is but a blink of an eye. It will pass quickly, and then we will meet our Maker. None of this stuff will matter once we are there. That is why He is refining us everyday - - To get us ready to spend eternity with Him. Everything else will turn to dust. This does not mean that He wants you to be unhappy until that day comes. Just trust Him that He is doing what He knows is best for you, all on his watch. God created you. HE does NOT hate you. That is a lie from the devil. I pray that God will give you perspective and that your priorities might align more with His. I pray for patience and understanding to trust our ALmighty God and that the devil will flee.
