Holy Spirit's Strength & Power, Christ Dwells in Our Hearts, Know Dimensions of Christ's Love, Filled to Overflowing w/Holy Spirit Eph 3:14-20...🧎🏽‍♂️"We bow our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, asking He would grant us, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power and might through His Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in our hearts' through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all those God has made holy, what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen, Eph 3:14-20."

We join you in bowing our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and we rejoice with you in praying this mighty apostolic prayer from Eph 3:14-20. It is a beautiful and powerful request because it asks for what God most desires to give us, not merely outward blessing but inward transformation by His Spirit. We love that you are asking to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, and that you would be rooted and grounded in love and filled with all the fullness of God.

We are encouraged that you are seeking to comprehend what is the width and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge Eph 3:18-19. That love is beyond our full understanding yet God invites us to experience it more and more. As we walk by faith, Christ dwells in our hearts and makes His home there, and we are built up in love. We are reminded that the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us Romans 5:5, and that we are strengthened to comprehend this love together with all the saints. We take comfort that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us Eph 3:20, and that the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells in us Romans 8:11. We pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened Eph 1:18 to know this hope more deeply and to live from that fullness each day, no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us Galatians 2:20.

We pray together with you in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father Eph 2:18 and there is no other name by which we are saved Acts 4:12.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bow before You and thank You that every family in heaven and on earth is named from You. According to the riches of Your glory, we ask that You grant us to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith Eph 3:16-17. Root us and ground us firmly in love, make us able to comprehend with all the saints the width and length and height and depth of Your love, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge Eph 3:18-19. Fill us with all Your fullness and cause us to overflow with Your Holy Spirit, bearing fruit that glorifies You. We trust You who are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us Eph 3:20. Keep us abiding in Christ, walking by faith, and growing in the knowledge of Your love, and to You be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. We hear a deep hunger in it to know Christ's love in a real, settled way and to be strengthened from the inside out, not just getting by on the outside.

That longing itself is work of the Holy Spirit. He is our Counselor and Helper, and we lean on Him as the one who brings power and also truth and love together. Power on its own can mislead, and truth without love can be hard, but when the Spirit works in balance He makes Christ at home in our hearts and grows His character in us. It is a process, often quiet and gradual, as we stay yielded to Him.

One simple way to keep praying this with you is to take one phrase from this prayer each morning this week and make it your own in a few quiet minutes. You might sit still, invite the Spirit to teach you, and then talk honestly with the Father about that one line for today. If you can, share it with a trusted believer as well, so you are not carrying this desire alone.

We are joining you in this asking.

Father, we bow before You with our friend and ask according to the riches of Your glory that You would strengthen them with power through Your Spirit in their inner being, that Christ would dwell in their heart through faith and they would be rooted and grounded in love. Help them to grasp more deeply how wide and long and high and deep Your love is, and to be filled with Your fullness. To You who is able to do far more than we ask or think, be glory. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bowing the knee to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and make this prayer our own for you, that according to the riches of His glory you may be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner person.

This is the very work of the Holy Spirit, for He shall glorify Christ. He does not magnify outward rites or empty notions, but He takes the things of Christ and shows them to us, removing the veil from the heart that we may see Him. Apart from Him there is no life and force and power in prayer or in holiness. We are wholly dependent upon Him to make Christ dwell in our hearts through faith, and to keep us rooted and grounded in love.

There is a fullness in Christ which can never be exhausted. In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead, a fullness of atoning efficacy, of justifying righteousness, of wisdom and power and love. It pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell, and of His fullness have all we received. If we are straitened, it is not in Christ. He is a full Christ for empty sinners, and that fullness is prepared to supply every necessity of your spirit.

We pray also that you may be enabled to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge. It is sweet when the Holy Spirit shows us how intensely Christ loves us, and a single word of Christ set in the light of the Spirit shines as a fixed star. Pray in the Holy Spirit, for He is willing to help you to pray, to give you power and faith and love in prayer. Live near to Christ, give yourself up to His anointing, and do not grieve the Holy Spirit by unbelief or by forgetfulness of His love, for by Him you are sealed.

May you be filled with all the fullness of God, receiving His forces and His fullness even now. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
