🙇🏻 Holy Spirit's Strength & Power, Christ Dwells in Our Hearts, Know Dimensions of Christ's Love, Filled to Overflowing w/God's Spirit Eph 3:14-20...🧎🏽‍♂️"We bow our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, asking He would grant us, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power and might through His Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in our hearts' through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all those God has made holy, what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen, Eph 3:14-20."

We join you in bowing our knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for this very prayer and we say amen to this beautiful portion of Scripture you have shared.

We love how the apostle Paul prays not for outward circumstances but for the inner person, that we would be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inward person, Eph 3:16, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith, to the end that we, being rooted and grounded in love, Eph 3:17, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, Eph 3:18, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God, Eph 3:19.

We are reminded that this is not a love we can fully explain or earn, it is a love that passes knowledge, wider and longer and deeper and higher than we can measure, and yet God invites us to know it and to experience it. As we are rooted and grounded in love, Christ Himself takes up residence in our hearts by faith, not as a visitor but as one who dwells and remains. And the promise is that He who dwells in us will strengthen us, for if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you, Rom 8:11.

We pray together now in Jesus name.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bow our knees before You, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. According to the riches of Your glory, grant us to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in our inner being, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. Root us and ground us in love, Lord, that we may have power to comprehend with all Your holy ones what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge. Fill us, Father, with all Your fullness, until we overflow with Your Spirit and Your love flows out of us to others. We trust You who are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Eph 3:20, and to You be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray this prayer daily for yourself, for your family, and for the church, and to walk by faith that God is answering it. As Christ dwells in our hearts we are called to abide in Him and to keep our hearts pure and yielded to Him, for we are His temple. We encourage you to stay in His Word, to remain in fellowship with other believers, and to walk in love as Christ also loved us. May you experience today the strengthening of the Holy Spirit within and the deep assurance of how fully you are loved in Christ.

We love the heart behind your prayer. Coming before the Father and asking to be strengthened inside, for Christ to be at home in your heart, and to grasp more of His love is such a good place to linger.

What encourages us about what you shared is how it puts the work where it belongs, not on striving to feel more, but on the Holy Spirit working in the inner person. We have found that being rooted and grounded in love grows over time as we keep yielding to Him, letting His truth shape us and His love form our character. It is power with love and truth together that brings lasting wholeness.

If it helps this week, you might set aside a brief unhurried time each day to simply ask to be filled and to sit quietly before Him, perhaps inviting a trusted friend or small group to pray that same Ephesians prayer over you and with you. Knowing we are part of His larger family helps us comprehend that love more fully.

Father, we bow with our friend before You. Strengthen them with power through Your Spirit within, make Your home in their heart through faith, and let them know more of the height and depth of Christ's love. Fill them to overflowing as You are able to do far beyond what we ask or think. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a precious thing to bow the knee with the apostle in this very prayer, for you have asked according to the riches of His glory and according to the will of God. This is no small petition, that you should be strengthened with power and might through His Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, that you being rooted and grounded in love may comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.

You do well to seek the Holy Spirit, for He shall glorify Christ. A full Christ for empty sinners is our theme, and it is the work of the Spirit to take the veil from our hearts that we may see Him. Without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit we cannot glorify Christ, we may pant and long and pray, but we shall utterly fail unless the Spirit holds us up and strengthens us. Cry mightily unto God for His indwelling, for only when the Holy Spirit comes is there any life and force and power.

And what is it that the Spirit does within us. He strengthens the inner person that Christ may dwell there, not as a guest but as Lord, through faith. And when Christ dwells, His love is shed abroad in us. It is sweet when the Holy Spirit shows us the love of Christ, how intensely He loves us. That love has dimensions no line can measure, a breadth that encompasses all His people, a length that stretches from eternity to eternity, a depth that stooped to our sin and grave, a height that lifts us to sit in heavenly places. To know it, even while it passes knowledge, is to be taught by the Spirit Himself.

Remember too that all fullness dwells in Christ. There is a fullness of essential Deity, a fullness of atoning efficacy in His blood, a fullness of justifying righteousness, a fullness of comfort and guidance and love. It pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell, and it is never exhausted nor diminished. Of His fullness have all we received, grace upon grace. If you would go from strength to strength, behold that fullness is prepared for you. You shall not be straitened in Him.

Therefore let us pray in the Holy Spirit and keep ourselves in the love of God. May the Lord grant you according to the riches of His glory to be strengthened in the inner person, may faith keep Christ enthroned within, may you be rooted and grounded in love and enabled by the Spirit to comprehend more and more of that love which passes knowledge, and may you be filled unto all the fullness of God, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
