🙇🏻 Holy Spirit's Strength, Christ Dwells in Our Hearts, Know Dimensions of Christ's Love, Filled to Overflowing w/ Fullness of God Eph 3:14-20...

🧎🏽‍♂️"We bow our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, asking He would grant us, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power and might through His Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in our hearts' through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all those God has made holy, what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen, Eph 3:14-20."

We rejoice in your heartfelt cry to the Father, echoing the apostle Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:14-20. This passage is a profound declaration of our dependence on God’s strength, His indwelling presence, and the limitless dimensions of Christ’s love. It is a prayer that aligns perfectly with the will of God, and we stand with you in lifting it before Him with great expectation.

This prayer is not merely a request for emotional comfort or fleeting inspiration; it is a plea for divine transformation. To be "strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner person" is to be fortified against the schemes of the enemy, the temptations of the flesh, and the trials of this world. It is the Holy Spirit who empowers us to walk in holiness, to resist sin, and to live as more than conquerors through Christ (Romans 8:37). Without this strengthening, we are like branches cut off from the vine, unable to bear fruit and destined to wither (John 15:4-5).

That Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith is a call to surrender every area of our lives to Him. It is not enough for Christ to be a guest in our hearts; He must be the Lord and Master of all. This means submitting our thoughts, desires, relationships, and ambitions to His will. If there are areas of your life where Christ is not welcome, whether it be unrepentant sin, idolatry, or rebellion, we must repent and invite Him to reign fully. The dwelling of Christ in our hearts is what roots and grounds us in love, enabling us to stand firm against the storms of life (Colossians 2:6-7).

The dimensions of Christ’s love, its width, length, depth, and height, are beyond human comprehension, yet we are called to know this love that surpasses knowledge. This is not an intellectual exercise but an experiential reality. To know the love of Christ is to be filled with all the fullness of God, to be so saturated with His presence that we overflow with His grace, mercy, and power. This fullness is not for our own sake alone but for the edification of the body of Christ and the advancement of His kingdom. When we are filled with God’s fullness, we become vessels of His glory, shining His light in a dark world (Matthew 5:16).

We must also address the reality that this prayer is only possible through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, if you have not confessed Him as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, then today is the day of salvation (Romans 10:9-10). Without Christ, we are separated from God, dead in our sins, and without hope. But in Him, we are made alive, adopted as children of God, and given access to the throne of grace (Ephesians 2:4-6).

Let us now lift this prayer together, trusting that the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think will answer according to His perfect will.

Heavenly Father, we bow our knees before You, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that apart from Him, we can do nothing. Lord, we ask that You would grant us, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in our inner beings. Let Christ dwell in our hearts through faith, rooting and grounding us in Your love.

Father, we confess that we cannot comprehend the fullness of Christ’s love on our own. But we ask that You would reveal it to us, that we may know the width, length, depth, and height of Your love, which surpasses all knowledge. Fill us with all the fullness of God, that we may be vessels of Your glory, shining Your light in this dark world.

We repent of any areas in our lives where we have not surrendered fully to You. Forgive us for the times we have grieved Your Spirit, for the sins we have committed, and for the ways we have fallen short of Your glory. Cleanse us, Lord, and renew a right spirit within us.

We thank You that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. To You be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear brother or sister. The God who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Walk in the strength of the Holy Spirit, abide in Christ, and let His love compel you to live for Him. The fullness of God is not a distant dream but a present reality for those who seek Him with all their heart. Press on, and may you experience the depths of His love in ways you never imagined.

Thank you for praying this passage over us all. We are moved by your heart to be rooted and grounded in love and to know more of Christ dwelling within.

We join you in that longing. It is the Holy Spirit who makes that inner strengthening real, not by our striving but by His quiet presence as Counselor and Helper. He brings power to sustain us, truth to keep us anchored in God's word, and fruit that slowly forms Christlike love in our daily lives. Those three belong together, and we see your prayer holding them together.

One simple way we have found helpful when a passage like this feels so full is to linger with one line at a time through the week. Perhaps in the morning pause on being strengthened in the inner person, the next day on Christ being at home in your heart through faith, another day on the breadth of His love. Let each become a brief, honest prayer as you go about your day, trusting the Spirit to work in His own timing.

We are grateful to stand with you in this.

Father, thank You for loving us first. Strengthen our friend within by Your Spirit, make Your presence at home in their heart, and give a deeper taste of Your love that passes understanding. Fill them with Yourself and bring glory to Yourself through Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a blessed prayer you have brought before the throne, and how gladly we bow our knees with you to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.

We entreat the Lord for you according to the riches of His glory, that you may be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man. Apart from Him all strength is but derived strength and must fail, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Come and feed upon Christ, for He is meat indeed and drink indeed to the soul, and so shall your inward parts be made strong.

We pray also that Christ may dwell in your heart by faith, and that you may let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. Remember that Christ Himself is the sum and substance of the Scriptures, and if you live with His word as a constant friend you will get to know Him better, and the better you know Him the more you will love Him. Being rooted and grounded in love, may you be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge. That love is boundless and infinite as God Himself is, and cannot be measured. It pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell, and that fullness is never exhausted nor diminished. There is a fullness of atoning efficacy in His blood, a fullness of justifying righteousness in His life, a fullness of comfort in affliction and guidance in prosperity, a fullness of wisdom and power and love which it were impossible to survey, much less to explore. Of His fullness have all we received, and you have only to ask of Him and He will give you that which is already yours in Christ.

So we ask that you may be filled with all the fullness of God, and filled to overflowing, for He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. May that power transfigure you by love, and may a sense of His personal love to you affect your whole life, for to know the love of Christ is the most excellent of all sciences.

To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Your prayer from Ephesians 3 is precious and we join you in bowing our knees with you to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We ask Him, according to the riches of His glory, to grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith. As we have taught, although the love of Christ lies above the reach of all human knowledge, yet you shall know it if you have Christ dwelling in you through faith, being rooted and grounded in love.

We pray that you, with all those God has made holy, may be able to comprehend what is the width and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge. That love has been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us, not sparingly but as a full fountain of blessing, making us sons of God and brethren of Christ. It is the work of the Spirit to point out Christ and to make Him known to us.

We pray also that you may be filled to all the fullness of God, which is to be filled with all virtue of which God is full, and to know how God is worshipped in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. For as Christ loved the world and as the Father loves, so also the Spirit loves, and His love works in us.

We trust Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Giving place to His providence, let us give heed to virtue and flee from vice, and hold fast to the care of our souls and to love for one another, that we may attain to the everlasting good things which eye has not seen nor ear heard, which God has prepared for those who love Him.

To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Your prayer reflects the very heart of what God wants to do in you, and it is a beautiful place to linger before Him. The passage you shared is not just words to admire but a request God delights to answer.

You asked to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner person, and that is exactly where strength is needed. In yourself you do not have what it takes to stand against temptation and the power of the enemy who constantly sets traps before you. God knows this, and according to the riches of His glory He is ready to give you real power inside, where it counts, by His Spirit dwelling in you. Your body is made to be His temple, and Christ dwelling in you is your hope of glory. This is part of the great mystery that God is gathering all things together in Christ.

You also prayed that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith. That word for dwell means much more than a brief visit. It means to settle down, to make Himself at home, to be comfortable and at ease there. By faith you open every room of your heart to Him, not holding parts back, so that He is not a stranger or a guest but truly at home in you.

From that place you become rooted and grounded in love, like a tree with deep roots and a building with a firm foundation. When you are established in His love, you begin to grasp with all of Gods holy people what is the width and length and depth and height of the love of Christ, a love that passes knowledge. Its riches are unsearchable. You cannot buy this love and trying to earn it only cheapens it. It is freely given. It is the love that moved Him to empty Himself, to take the form of a servant and be obedient to death on the cross for you. It is the love that covers a multitude of sins, that sees you not in your imperfect state but as complete in Christ, that forgives and cleanses you and receives you as a son or daughter. You will never come to the end of it, and in the ages to come He will still be showing you more of the exceeding riches of His grace and kindness toward you in Jesus.

You prayed to be filled to overflowing with all the fullness of God. In Christ all the fullness of God dwells in bodily form, and He desires to fill you. That fullness is known in fellowship with the Father and with His Son, in abiding in Christ day by day. It brings a fullness of joy that is different from happiness, a joy that remains as you walk with Him, keep His word, and love one another as He has commanded. The evidence that His Spirit is truly at work in you is this love. God is love, and when you dwell in love you dwell in God and God dwells in you. His love is perfected in you as you love your brothers and sisters, as you forgive as He forgave, and as you are moved with compassion rather than cold indifference toward the needs of others. You are not bound by mere rules, but by cords of love that are far stronger, because you do not want to hurt the One who loves you so greatly.

And the prayer ends where all true prayer rests, with the confidence that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in you. What you have asked is great, but He is greater. He can do more than you have words to ask and more than you can imagine.

So continue to bow your knee to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ask Him daily for that inner strengthening, invite Christ to be fully at home in every part of your life, stay rooted in His love, and walk in that love toward others. He who has begun this work will be faithful to fill you and to keep you, and to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
