🧎🏽‍♂️ Holy Spirit Use The Bible 📖, Messages from Pulpit, Divine Appointments, Godly Counsel, Prov 11:14, Visions, Acts 2:17⚡️Dreams 💤 Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9, Leading of Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, The Shepherd's Voice, John 10:27, Signs in The Heavens, Gen 1:14, Matt 2:2, Num 24:17, Signs of The Times, Matt 16:3, 1 Chron 12:32, BEFORE The Sign of The Son of Man, Matt 24:30...

Father, we look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than to all we see and hear from the noise and pollution of the world, and thank You, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34. We agree with this husband, for his wife, children, family -- speak to us by any and every ordinary and extraordinary means: Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times: Joseph, Matt 1:20, Magi, Matt 2:12, Abimelech, Gen 20:3, Laban to remain neutral regarding Jacob, Gen 31:24, Nebuchadnezzar, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, Paul, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1.

Again, as little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of Yours can be thwarted,"Job 42:2 We agree with John, that light is stronger than darkness and not able to overcome it, John 1:5. We agree that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27.

Keep her, him, us and our churches, families, friends, pastors and government leaders from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. With thanksgiving we let our requests be made known and claim Your promise of incomprehensible peace, Phil 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in Jesus ALL Your promises are Yes, and therefore we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20... Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in this earnest desire that the Holy Spirit would speak and lead and guide this dear wife, her husband, their children and family, and all of us by every means that is according to Your perfect will.

We love your heart to look first to the Word of God, for it is written To the law and to the testimony If they do not speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them Isaiah 8:20. We agree that Scripture is the sure foundation and final authority, and that all other leadings, counsel, dreams, visions, prophecies, and signs must be tested against it. We are reminded that All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work 2 Tim 3:16-17 and that we are to not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God 1 John 4:1. We share your longing for the Holy Spirit to use the Bible, faithful preaching, godly counsel where in the multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 11:14, divine appointments, and the still small voice of the Shepherd, for My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me John 10:27 and For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God Rom 8:14.

We also rejoice with you in the confidence you have expressed in the power of God to save and to keep. We agree that He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them Heb 7:25 and that Christ at the right hand of God also makes intercession for us Rom 8:34. We join you in declaring with Job, I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained Job 42:2, and that The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it John 1:5, and that nothing spoken by God is impossible Luke 1:37 and The things which are impossible with men are possible with God Luke 18:27 and Mark 10:27. We thank God that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever Heb 13:8 and that Yahweh's hand is not shortened at all, that it can't save, nor his ear heavy, that it can't hear Isa 59:1 and Num 11:23.

We hear your heart as a husband interceding for his wife and family, and we honor that biblical calling for a husband to love and lead his household in the Lord, praying that God would make His will clear to her and to all of you in Christ Jesus. We have seen in Scripture how God did speak in dreams to Joseph Matt 1:20, to the wise men Matt 2:12, to Abimelech Gen 20:3, and to Laban Gen 31:24, and how He gave visions to His prophets as in Num 12:6 and Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:17, and we know He is still sovereign to direct His people as He wills. At the same time we gently encourage you to remain anchored in the Word and not to chase after signs or wonders beyond what God has revealed, remembering that an evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign Matt 12:39, while God has given us His completed Word and His Spirit to guide us into all truth John 16:13, and to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness Matt 6:33.

We pray together now for you all.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving, letting our requests be made known to You Phil 4:6. We thank You that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, for There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5 and that In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We cling to Christ who lives to intercede for us.

We ask You to speak clearly to this wife, her husband, their children and household, and to us and to our churches and pastors and leaders. Open Your Word to them daily, bring faithful messages from the pulpit, provide godly counsel, and by Your Holy Spirit lead them in the way everlasting Psalm 139:24. If it pleases You, confirm Your will through dreams and visions as You did of old, but above all let them hear the Shepherd's voice and be kept from confusion and deception.

We pray as You taught us, Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one Matt 6:13 and Luke 11:4. Keep them and us from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, and the deception of the evil one who deceives the whole world Rev 12:9. We ask that You would deliver us from unreasonable and evil men 2 Thess 3:2, that You would keep us from evil John 17:15 and guard us from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3, for You are faithful.

We ask that You would grant to them and to us Your peace that surpasses all understanding, which will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:7, as we pray with faith believing that we have received Mark 11:24, for without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him Heb 11:6. We thank You in advance that every promise of God is Yes in Him, therefore also through him is the Amen, to the glory of God through us 2 Cor 1:20, and we trust You who are The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness Rev 3:14.

Work in this marriage and family to make it strong in You, reflecting Christ and His church Eph 5:25, keeping them in holiness and unity. Let Your will be done in their lives as it is in heaven Matt 6:10, and let Your light shine through them.

We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We were so encouraged by your heart for your wife, children and family, and your desire to seek the Lord together and walk in His will. That humble, childlike dependence on Him is a good place to be.

We hear how much you want clear direction and reassurance, especially through all the noise around us. In our experience God most often makes His way clear through steady, ordinary means as well as the extraordinary ones, through His Word, through prayer, through the counsel of faithful pastors and friends, and through open and closed doors over time. That is why walking closely with a few trusted, mature believers who know you and your family can be so steadying when you are weighing what you sense you have heard.

One simple practice that helps is to bring one or two specific questions you are praying about to a pastor or wise friend you trust, share what you believe the Lord may be showing you, and ask them to pray and weigh it with you. Writing down what you are praying and what counsel you receive can also help you notice patterns and have peace over time.

We are joining you in prayer for protection, wisdom and that incomprehensible peace over your home and church.

Father, we lift this husband, his wife, their children and family to You. Draw them close to Yourself, guard them from evil and deception, and give them wisdom, unity and quiet confidence as they seek You. Lead them step by step and keep them in Your peace. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your longing to hear the Lord and to walk in His will is a good and tender desire, and it is right that you would bring your wife, your children and your household before the throne of grace with humble confidence. There is great comfort in the truth you have quoted, that He is able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us, and that nothing shall be impossible with God.

Take heed how you hear, for it is a blessed thing to hear when God Himself speaks to us. The surest voice from heaven we have is not a whisper in the night or a sign in the sky, but the voice which came from the excellent glory concerning Christ, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear Him. God has spoken to us in these last days by His Son, and His Word written is the settled testimony by which every other impression, counsel, dream or vision must be tried. To the law and to the testimony, as you have rightly quoted from Isaiah, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

This does not mean the Lord is silent or distant. He teaches His people from their youth and gives a spirit of hearing in a most wonderful manner. He speaks by His Word opened, by faithful sermons, by godly counsel according to Proverbs 11:14, by His providence and by the still small voice of His Spirit applying Christ to the heart. It is better for you to hear God's Word from your fellow men than it would be to hear it from an angel, for God has appointed the preaching of the gospel as His ordinary means to save and to guide. When we cry unto God with our voice, He does give ear unto us, not always by giving a new dream, but by giving us Christ, and by making His written Word plain to our faith.

Therefore pray not so much for extraordinary signs as for an ordinary, obedient ear to what is already clearly revealed. The Lord knows how to keep His people from temptation, from evil, from deception and from the evil one, as you have asked. That keeping comes through abiding in Christ, watching unto prayer, walking in the light of Scripture, and trusting the Shepherd's voice which we know because we are His sheep and follow Him. Light is indeed stronger than darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it, because Christ has overcome.

Let me pray with you in this way. May the Lord establish you and your wife and children in the faith once delivered, rooted in the Scriptures, built up in Christ, and kept from sin and error. May He give you wisdom to discern His will through His Word, through prayer offered in Jesus name, through the counsel of faithful pastors and through His providence ordered in love. May He guard your home from lies, fear and the deceits of the enemy, and grant you that peace which passes all understanding as you make your requests known to Him with thanksgiving. May you hear the gently whispered invitation of grace, not to seek another voice, but to come nearer to Christ Himself, to trust your soul with Him and to go and sin no more by His grace.

All the promises of God are yes in Christ, and He who has begun a good work will perfect it. Rest there, live upon a word out of God's mouth, and you shall find it enough to live upon.

We join you in thanking God that He hears those who come to Him through Jesus Christ, who indeed lives to make intercession for us as Hebrews 7:25 says, and that His promises are yes and amen in Christ.

We agree with you that God is able to do all things and that no purpose of His can be thwarted, that light is stronger than darkness and darkness has not overcome it, and that what is impossible with man is possible with God. His arm is not too short to save, and we can come to Him with humble confidence as His children.

We also hear your desire that the Holy Spirit would guide this husband and his wife and children and family by every means. Scripture teaches that the Spirit guides us most surely through the Word of God, through the faithful preaching of that Word, through prayer, through godly counsel according to Proverbs 11:14, through the providence of God in ordinary daily appointments, and through the voice of the Shepherd heard as we hear His Word and follow Him as in John 10:27. These are ordinary but powerful means by which God has always led His people, and they are sufficient and trustworthy.

At the same time we want to encourage you to test everything by Scripture as Isaiah 8:20 says, to the law and to the testimony. In the Bible God did at times speak through dreams and visions to Joseph, to the Magi, to others, and those events point to His power. But the pattern of Scripture shows that such extraordinary means were uncommon and specific to redemptive moments, and that God has now spoken most fully and finally through His Son as Hebrews 1 teaches, and that Scripture thoroughly equips us for every good work. For that reason we do not seek new dreams, visions, or signs in the heavens as a regular way to know His will, and we do not look to the signs of the times for hidden knowledge, lest we be led astray. As Christ showed, His words and His works together testified that He was from God and not from any other power, and we recognize His voice today when what we hear agrees with what He has already said in the Bible.

So we pray with you that this family would be kept close to Christ and to His Word, that they would hear and obey it, that they would walk in the light, and that they would grow in faith and obedience within the good order God has given, salvation through Jesus alone and marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman where love and faithfulness belong. We pray that God would guard them and their churches and families and friends and pastors and leaders from temptation and sin and evil and deception and from the evil one, and that He would keep them from fear and falsehood.

We ask the Lord to give them wisdom to discern good and evil, to love what is good, to turn from what is evil, and to know His peace that passes understanding as they make their requests known to Him with thanksgiving according to Philippians 4:6 and 7. May He establish them in truth, keep them from error, and help them to follow Christ faithfully even when it brings reproach, knowing that to bear reproach for Christ is part of following Him.

We thank God in advance for His mercy and faithfulness, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus, our faithful witness, trusting that the Father hears us for His sake. Amen.
