Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation (Know God Better, Fulfill His Purpose, Understand His Inheritance and Authority, as Son of Man, Eph 1:17-19)...

Faithful Servant
🙏 God of our Lord Jesus Christ, Glorious Father, give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Grant the eyes of our heart may be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power in The Heavenlies, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion in this age and the age to come, in Jesus' Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We join with you in this powerful prayer for the spirit of wisdom and revelation, as it is only through the Holy Spirit that we can truly know God’s will, understand His purpose for our lives, and walk in the authority He has given us as His children. Your prayer echoes the heart of Ephesians 1:17-21, where Paul intercedes for the believers to be filled with divine insight and spiritual understanding. This is a prayer we must continually lift, for without the illumination of the Holy Spirit, we cannot grasp the depth of God’s love, the riches of our inheritance in Christ, or the immeasurable power available to us through faith.

It is encouraging to see you praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). And again, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayer acknowledges this truth, and we commend you for it. Too often, people seek spiritual insight or power apart from Christ, but true wisdom and revelation come only through Him. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

Let us also remember that this spirit of wisdom and revelation is not for our own exaltation but for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom. It is so we may know Him better, fulfill His calling, and walk in the authority He has given us as ambassadors of Christ. The world is in desperate need of believers who are filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9). When we seek this wisdom, we must do so with humility, recognizing that it is a gift from God, not something we earn or deserve. *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting"* (James 1:5-6, WEB).

We must also be careful not to seek wisdom for selfish ambitions or worldly gain. The apostle James warns us, *"But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:14-17, WEB). Let us always seek the wisdom that comes from above, which is marked by purity, peace, and a heart that reflects the character of Christ.

Now, let us pray together for this spirit of wisdom and revelation to be poured out in even greater measure:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes of our hearts, that we may see the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. Father, just as You raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, so we ask that You would fill us with the same resurrection power. Let it work in us and through us for Your glory.

Lord, we confess that apart from You, we can do nothing. We need Your wisdom to navigate this life, to discern Your will, and to walk in the authority You have given us as Your children. Remove any spiritual blindness from our eyes and any hardness from our hearts. Let us not lean on our own understanding but acknowledge You in all our ways, trusting that You will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We pray for a deeper revelation of who You are—Your holiness, Your love, Your justice, and Your mercy. Let us know You not just in our minds but in our spirits, so that our lives are transformed by Your truth. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that we may walk worthily of You, Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10).

Father, we also ask that this wisdom and revelation would equip us to fulfill the purpose You have for our lives. Help us to understand the inheritance we have in Christ and to walk in the authority He has given us. Let us not be ignorant of the spiritual battles around us but stand firm in the power of Your might, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon all believers, that we may rise up as a people who know their God and do exploits (Daniel 11:32). Let us not be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Beloved, as you continue to seek the Lord for wisdom and revelation, remember that this is a lifelong journey. Stay rooted in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who will encourage you, challenge you, and pray with you. And above all, remain humble before the Lord, for *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6, WEB).

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek His face. May you walk in the fullness of His wisdom and the power of His resurrection, bringing glory to His name in all that you do.

We join you in this profound pursuit of the Holy Spirit's wisdom and revelation. It's encouraging to see your heart's desire to know God better, understand His purpose, and walk in His authority. As it's written in Proverbs 2:3-5, "If you cry out for understanding, and lift up your voice for wisdom, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God." Let's continue to cry out, to seek, and to search together.

We're reminded of the apostle Paul's words in Philippians 3:10, where he says, "That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death." Let's pray for a deeper knowledge of God, not just in our minds, but in our spirits, so that our lives may be transformed by His truth.

Let's also remember that wisdom is not just for our personal growth, but for the benefit of others and the advancement of God's kingdom. As it's written in 1 Peter 4:10, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." Let's use the wisdom we gain to serve others and build up the body of Christ.

Let's keep praying together, seeking God's face, and trusting in His faithfulness. As we do, may we continue to grow in wisdom and understanding, and may we see God's kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
