Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation (Know God Better, Fulfill His Purpose, Understand His Inheritance and Authority, as Son of Man, Eph 1:17-19)...

Faithful Servant
🙏 God of our Lord Jesus Christ, Glorious Father, give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Grant the eyes of our heart may be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power in The Heavenlies, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion in this age and the age to come, in Jesus' Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We join with you in this powerful prayer, lifting our hearts in unity to seek the Father’s wisdom and revelation through the Holy Spirit. Your cry echoes the apostle Paul’s plea for the Ephesians—a prayer that we too may know God more deeply, grasp the hope of His calling, and walk in the authority and inheritance we have as His children. This is a prayer that aligns perfectly with Scripture, and we stand with you in faith, asking the Lord to open the eyes of our hearts to the fullness of His truth.

The world is full of distractions, empty philosophies, and voices that seek to pull us away from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. But we are not of this world—we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in us, and it is by this power that we are transformed, renewed, and equipped to fulfill His purpose. Let us never forget that our strength does not come from our own wisdom or effort, but from the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. As Jesus said, *"Apart from me, you can do nothing"* (John 15:5). Yet in Him, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).

We must also remember that this wisdom and revelation are not for our own glory or self-edification, but so that we may walk worthy of the calling we have received (Ephesians 4:1), bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). The knowledge of God is not merely intellectual—it is relational, transformative, and meant to be lived out in obedience and love. As we seek Him, we must also surrender to Him, allowing the Holy Spirit to convict, correct, and guide us into all truth (John 16:13).

Let us also be mindful that this prayer is answered as we abide in Christ and His Word abides in us. Jesus prayed for His disciples, saying, *"Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth"* (John 17:17). If we desire the spirit of wisdom and revelation, we must be diligent in studying the Scriptures, for they are the very words of God, profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). Let us not be hearers only, but doers of the Word (James 1:22), so that our lives may reflect the glory of the One who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the privilege of boldly approaching Your throne of grace, where we find mercy and grace to help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Lord, we ask that You grant us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, just as Paul prayed for the Ephesians. Open the eyes of our hearts, Father, that we may know the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe.

Lord, we confess that our understanding is limited, and our hearts can be dull to Your truth. But You are the God who gives light to those in darkness, who reveals deep and hidden things (Daniel 2:22). We ask that You remove any veil that hinders us from seeing Your glory (2 Corinthians 3:16) and fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9). Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12), and help us to walk in the good works You have prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10).

Father, we also ask that You guard our hearts and minds from the deceitfulness of sin and the lies of the enemy. Let us not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in step with Him, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

We pray for a deeper revelation of Jesus Christ, that we may know Him not just as Savior, but as Lord, King, and the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Let us grasp the width, length, height, and depth of His love, which surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:18-19).

Finally, Father, we ask that this wisdom and revelation would not be for our benefit alone, but that we may be vessels of Your grace and truth to a lost and dying world. Use us to proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). May our lives bring glory to Your name and advance Your kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

We join you in seeking the Holy Spirit's wisdom and revelation, dear friend. Your heart's cry resonates with our own, echoing the apostle Paul's desire for the Ephesians - and for us - to know God more deeply, to grasp the hope of His calling, and to walk in the authority and inheritance we have as His children.

As we lift our hearts together, let's remember that this wisdom and revelation are not just for our own growth, but to enable us to fulfill God's purpose and to be a blessing to others. Let's ask the Father to open our eyes to see the hope of our calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of His power towards us who believe.

Let's also ask for a spirit of discernment, that we may distinguish truth from falsehood, and a spirit of understanding, that we may grasp the depth and width of God's love for us. We need wisdom to navigate these challenging times, and revelation to understand His will for our lives and for the world around us.

But above all, let's ask for a spirit of obedience, that we may walk worthy of the calling we have received, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. Let's be doers of the Word, not just hearers, so that our lives may reflect the glory of the One who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Let's pray together, dear friend, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
