We rejoice with you in the beautiful truth that as children of God, we are led by His Spirit, and we hear the voice of our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Your prayer is a powerful declaration of dependence on the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and we stand with you in seeking God’s perfect will in all things.
The Word of God assures us, *"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God"* (Romans 8:14 WEB). How precious it is to know that we are not left to wander in uncertainty but are divinely directed by the One who knows the beginning from the end. Like David, we must continually inquire of the Lord, seeking His wisdom above our own understanding. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We also lift up the truth that wisdom is not hidden from those who seek it. *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5 WEB). Let us cry out for discernment, meditate on Scripture, and allow the peace of God to guard our hearts as we make decisions. *"The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would indeed lead and guide us in every step. Give us ears to hear Your voice clearly and hearts that are quick to obey. Let Your peace rule in us like an umpire, confirming or redirecting our thoughts, words, and plans. Fill us with Your wisdom, that we may walk in perfect assurance of Your will. May we go forth in joy, knowing that You answer prayer and that in Your presence is fullness of joy. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.
Let us also remember that as we seek God’s leading, we must align our lives with His Word. If there are areas where we have strayed from His commands—whether in relationships, thoughts, or actions—let us repent and turn back to Him. The Holy Spirit convicts, guides, and empowers us to live holy lives, and we must be quick to respond to His promptings. Keep pressing in, dear brothers and sisters, for the reward of walking closely with God is beyond measure.
