🕊️Holy Spirit Conviction from SERMON TODAY... Jn 16:18, Matrimonial Spouse Repents 2 Pet 3:9 🙏 Godly Sorrow Produces Repentance unto Life 2Cor 7:10, Reconciliation 2Cor 5:20... Father, thank You "Even when we don't see it You're working, Even when we don't feel it You're working," as Jesus says, "My Father is always working even until now, and I, too, am working," Jn 5:17. 🙌 Father, for the sake of Your Word, Eph 5:32, Our vows, Ecclesiastes 5:2, and our offspring, Mal 2:15 -- Grant the free gift of godly sorrow producing a LASTING CHANGE OF HEART AND MIND, 2 Cor 7:10… I forgive that she did not honor her commitments to attend Bible Study, Church and Biblical Marriage Counseling WE AGREED to BEFORE I left My Home Country 🇺🇸 Nor her COMMITMENT to REBUILDING the relationship while I was there in Asia, but instead deserted me — “A righteous person keeps their promises even when it hurts,” Ps 15:4; and "Do not delay your vows to God -- He takes no pleasure in fools. Better to not vow than make God angry and destroy the work of Your hands, Ecclesiastes 5:4-6. "Let your 'yes' be 'yes,' (anything beyond that is evil, says Jesus), Matt 5:37. Release the CONVICTION of The Holy Spirit's righteousness, sin and judgement to come, John 16:18. I ask, as You will, that she would not PERISH but come to REPENTANCE, 2 Pet 3:9. Give Your angels charge over her, him, me, our pastors and prayer partners (including all those who pray and contribute financially's families) -- Grant salvation, 1 Tim 2:4, Acts 16:31-32, and keep us ALL grace to be set apart from sin as Your holy people, Ex 19:5-6, Lev 19:2, Lev 20:26, Zeph 3:13, Matt 5:48, 2 Cor 7:1, 2 Cor 13:7, Eph 1:4, 1 Thes 4:7, Heb 12:14, 1 Pet 1:16, 1 Jn 3:3, Rev 14:5. Keep us from temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- keep deception and lies far from us, Prov 30:8. Let trials draw us closer to You, encourage others, Phil 1:12, 2 Cor 1:6, Eph 6:20, and help incite fervency in our prayer, James 5:13-17, Help us study the Bible, 2 Tim 2:15. Open our minds to understand the Scriptures, Lk 24:45...

Let us rejoice in trials and count them joy, expediting worship, fasting, seeking, finding, reading, memorizing and writing words of edification and things that accompany salvation, and not shrink back from the warnings of Scripture, but let the Gospel go forth in times of peace and freedom, 1 Tim 2:1-4, and in the midst of opposition, 1 Thes 2:2. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. Let us hear Your voice, John 10:27, and always be lead by The Holy Spirit as children of God, Rom 8:14 as we are truly adopted children of God, John 1:14, 1 Jn 3:2-3, Let the Word of The Lord Spread RAPIDLY and BE GLORIFIED as YOU keep us from deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil, evil people and the evil one. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

We hear the deep cry of your heart as you stand in the gap for your matrimonial spouse, pleading for the Holy Spirit’s conviction to bring about true repentance and lasting change. Your prayer is steeped in Scripture, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:32). The pain of broken vows and unfulfilled commitments is heavy, but we take comfort in knowing that God is always at work, even when we cannot see it (John 5:17). His desire is for reconciliation, for He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

The Word of God is clear that a righteous person keeps their promises, even when it hurts (Psalm 15:4), and that vows made to the Lord must not be delayed or broken (Ecclesiastes 5:4-6). Your spouse’s failure to honor the commitments made—whether to attend Bible study, church, or biblical marriage counseling—grieves the heart of God, for He takes no pleasure in those who make promises lightly. Yet, we also know that Godly sorrow produces repentance that leads to salvation without regret (2 Corinthians 7:10). This is the kind of repentance we pray for—a turning of the heart that is deep, sincere, and lasting.

We rebuke the spirit of deception, hardness of heart, and rebellion that may be at work in your spouse’s life. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and we pray that this conviction would fall upon her like a fire, melting away every excuse, every justification, and every barrier that stands between her and true repentance. Let there be no delay, no half-heartedness, but a complete surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We declare that she will not perish but will come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), for the Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love (Psalm 103:8).

We also lift you up before the Lord, for the pain of betrayal and abandonment is not easily borne. Yet, we are reminded that forgiveness is not optional for the believer—it is a command (Matthew 6:14-15). You have chosen to forgive, as Christ has forgiven you, and this is pleasing to the Lord. But forgiveness does not mean ignoring sin or enabling unrepentant behavior. We pray that you would walk in wisdom, discernment, and strength, leaning on the Lord for every step. If your spouse remains unrepentant, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from your pastors or elders, for Scripture instructs us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). While we pray for reconciliation, we must also prepare our hearts for the possibility that the Lord’s will may lead in a different direction.

We pray that the Lord would send His angels to guard and protect you, your spouse, your pastors, and all those who stand with you in prayer. May the Word of God spread rapidly in your lives, bringing clarity, conviction, and transformation. Let the Gospel be glorified in every circumstance, whether through reconciliation or through the testimony of God’s faithfulness in the midst of trial. We ask that the Lord would sanctify you both in truth, for His Word is truth (John 17:17). May you hear His voice clearly (John 10:27) and be led by the Holy Spirit in all things (Romans 8:14).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for Your faithfulness, even when we are faithless (2 Timothy 2:13). We ask that You would move powerfully in this marriage, bringing about a repentance that leads to life. If it is Your will, restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and make all things new. But if Your will leads in another direction, give strength, wisdom, and peace to walk in obedience. We trust You, Lord, for You are good, and Your love endures forever. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in crying out to the Lord for your spouse, pleading for the Holy Spirit's conviction to bring about true repentance and lasting change. We are moved by your unwavering commitment to stand in the gap, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this fight.

We, too, find comfort in the promise that God is always at work, even when we cannot see it (John 5:17). We trust that His desire is for reconciliation and that He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We believe that Godly sorrow produces repentance that leads to salvation without regret (2 Corinthians 7:10), and we pray that this would be the outcome in your spouse's life.

We also join you in rebuking the spirit of deception, hardness of heart, and rebellion that may be at work. We ask that the Holy Spirit would fall upon your spouse like a fire, melting away every excuse, every justification, and every barrier that stands between them and true repentance. We declare that they would not perish but come to repentance, for the Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love (Psalm 103:8).

We want to encourage you to continue to forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32). Forgiveness is not easy, but it is a command and a path to healing. We also encourage you to walk in wisdom, discernment, and strength, leaning on the Lord for every step. If your spouse remains unrepentant, we urge you to seek godly counsel from your pastors or elders, and to prepare your heart for the Lord's will, whatever that may be.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You, laying our hearts bare. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
