We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt plea, lifting up those who may be entangled in spiritual darkness and deception. First, we must address the language used in this request, words like "my majesty" and references to sorcery do not align with Scripture. The Bible is clear that there is only one Majesty, one King of kings, and that is the Lord our God. Jesus Christ is our Savior, Redeemer, and the only mediator between God and humanity. We must never exalt ourselves or others to a place that belongs to God alone, for Scripture warns, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
We rebuke any influence of sorcery, witchcraft, or occult practices in the lives of those mentioned in this request. The Word of God is firm on this: "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). If anyone has dabbled in these things, we urge them to repent, renounce, and turn fully to Christ, for He alone has the power to break every chain.
Father God, we pray for those who may be trapped in spiritual bondage, whether through their own choices or the schemes of the enemy. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and the freedom found only in Jesus Christ. Break every chain of deception, every plot of the enemy, and every lie that has kept them from walking in the light of Your love. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Lord, we pray for unity among Your people, not unity based on worldly standards, but unity rooted in Your truth and love. Help us to love one another as You have loved us, to bear with one another in patience, and to speak the truth in love. May Your Holy Spirit guide us into all truth, that we may walk in holiness and purity before You. We ask that You would heal divisions, restore relationships, and draw hearts closer to You and to one another.
We also lift up those who may be struggling with fear, anxiety, or confusion. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in boldness and confidence in Your promises.
Finally, we pray for salvation for those who do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Christ, we urge them to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are forgiven and made new.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy, Your grace, and Your unfailing love. We trust in Your power to set the captives free, to heal the brokenhearted, and to restore what the enemy has stolen. May Your will be done in the lives of those we lift up today, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
