Holy Ghost Fire Come, And Set Your ###, And ### Ablaze!

Disciple of Prayer
Even as on the day of Pentecost, come Holy Ghost, and baptize me with fire. Thank You O Lord God that Your prophetess will lay hands on me, asking for that Holy Ghost fire to burn within me, and upon me. Soon, I will be taking on perhaps the greatest work I have ever done in Your name Lord Jesus. To start that church according to the book of Acts. To see the impossible become possible. To see miracles, signs, and wonders. To see the brethren of the chosen, few, elect love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, making You their first, and only love. To be about my heavenly Father's business. To proclaim, and living according to the keeping of Your commandments, especially the one of taking heed that no man deceive me, watching, and praying so as to be found worthy to enter Your kingdom on that day that You return in power, and great glory. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your fervent cry for the fire of the Holy Spirit to ignite your spirit as you step into what the Lord has called you to do. Your passion for starting a church grounded in the book of Acts and your desire to see miracles, signs, and wonders are indeed aligned with the heart of God. The early church was birthed in power, and it is beautiful to see your longing to walk in that same anointing. We join you in praying for the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh, equipping you for the work ahead.

The Word tells us in Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth." This power is not for our own glory but to testify of Jesus and advance His kingdom. We pray that as you seek this baptism of fire, you remain humble, keeping your eyes fixed on Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). The laying on of hands by your prophetess is a biblical practice, as seen in 1 Timothy 4:14, "Don’t neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the elders." May this act be a conduit for God’s power to flow into your life, confirming His call and strengthening you for the journey ahead.

However, we must also address a few concerns with love and truth. First, while your zeal is commendable, we must remember that the Holy Spirit is not a force to be commanded but a Person to be yielded to. The phrase "Holy Ghost Fire, come" can sometimes reflect a mindset that treats the Spirit as a tool rather than the third Person of the Trinity. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done" (Matthew 6:10), not "My will be done." Let us always approach the Holy Spirit with reverence, asking Him to lead us rather than demanding that He act according to our desires.

Second, the language of being part of the "chosen, few, elect" can sometimes lead to an unhealthy sense of spiritual elitism. While it is true that God has chosen us (Ephesians 1:4), we must never forget that His desire is for *all* to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). The church you are called to start should be a place of love, grace, and inclusion, where the lost are welcomed and discipled, not a gathering of those who see themselves as superior to others. Jesus Himself came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10), and we must follow His example.

Third, your emphasis on keeping God’s commandments is vital, but we must ensure that this does not slip into legalism. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), not by our own works. While obedience is the natural outflow of a heart transformed by the Holy Spirit, we must never place the burden of the law on ourselves or others as a means of earning God’s favor. Jesus fulfilled the law on our behalf (Matthew 5:17), and we now walk in the freedom of His grace.

Finally, we must address the phrase "taking heed that no man deceive me." While vigilance against deception is biblical (Matthew 24:4), we must be careful not to fall into a spirit of fear or suspicion. The enemy seeks to divide and isolate, but God has called us to walk in love and unity (John 17:21). Instead of focusing on avoiding deception, let us focus on growing in the knowledge of Christ (Colossians 2:6-7), for it is in Him that we find truth and protection.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the calling You have placed on this brother’s life. Lord, we ask that You baptize him afresh with the Holy Spirit and fire, just as You did on the day of Pentecost. Fill him with Your power, wisdom, and boldness to proclaim the gospel and start the church You have called him to build. Let Your glory be evident in every step he takes, and may lives be transformed as a result of his obedience.

Father, we pray that You would guard his heart against pride, legalism, or any spirit of elitism. Help him to walk in humility, always pointing others to Jesus rather than to himself. May the church he plants be a beacon of Your love, grace, and truth, drawing the lost and broken to You. Teach him to rely fully on Your Spirit, yielding to Your will in every situation.

Lord, we ask that You protect him from deception and fear. Fill him with discernment and wisdom, that he may recognize Your voice above all others. Surround him with godly counsel and accountability, that he may grow in maturity and Christlikeness. May his life be a living testimony of Your power and goodness, and may he finish the race strong, hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have access to You, and it is through His name alone that we are saved. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, in this brother’s life and in the church he is called to start. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother, as you hunger for the Holy Spirit's fire to consume you and equip you for the great work ahead. We're excited to see the church you're called to start, one that reflects the power and love of the early church in Acts. Let's pray together:

"Father, we ask that You would fill this brother with Your Holy Spirit, just as You did on the day of Pentecost. Baptize him with fire, Lord, and ignite within him a passion for Jesus that can't be contained. Give him the boldness to proclaim Your gospel, to start the church You've called him to, and to see miracles, signs, and wonders.

Help him, Lord, to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Keep him humble, always pointing others to You, never seeking glory for himself. Surround him with godly counsel and accountability, that he may grow in maturity and Christlikeness.

Protect him from deception and fear, Lord. Fill him with discernment and wisdom, that he may recognize Your voice above all others. Teach him to rely fully on Your Spirit, yielding to Your will in every situation.

Let the church he plants be a beacon of Your love, grace, and truth, drawing the lost and broken to You. May his life be a living testimony of Your power and goodness, and may he finish the race strong, hearing the words, 'Well done, good and faithful servant.'

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have access to You, and it is through His name alone that we are saved. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, in this brother's life and in the church he is called to start. Amen."

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We are deeply moved by your fervent prayer for the Holy Ghost fire to ignite your spirit as you step into this sacred calling. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, lifting up your heart’s desire to be baptized with the same fire that fell on the day of Pentecost. We have prayed that the laying on of hands by your prophetess would release a divine unction within you, empowering you to walk in the fullness of God’s purpose as you prepare to launch this Acts-inspired church.

As the days have passed, we have continued to intercede, asking the Lord to confirm His leading, open doors no man can shut, and surround you with a company of believers who will stand with you in faith, unity, and holy boldness. We have prayed for miracles, signs, and wonders to accompany your ministry, that the name of Jesus would be exalted and the lost would be drawn to His love. We have also lifted up your desire to remain vigilant, rooted in His Word, and unwavering in your devotion to Him alone, so that you may finish the race strong and hear those blessed words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

If the Holy Ghost fire has already fallen upon you in a fresh and tangible way—if you are sensing His presence, His power, or His confirmation in this season—we rejoice with you and invite you to share a praise report so that we may glorify God together. If, however, you are still awaiting His answer or feeling the weight of this calling, we encourage you to post your request again. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing with you for the impossible to become possible, for revival to break out, and for the kingdom of God to advance through your obedience.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him with all your heart. May He strengthen you for the work ahead, fill you with His wisdom, and anoint you with fresh oil for the journey. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
