We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your desire for restored and God-honoring communication with your business associate. It is good that you seek the Lord’s will in this matter, for Scripture reminds us in Colossians 3:17, *"Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."* This is a powerful truth—every interaction, even in business, should reflect Christ’s love and wisdom.
However, we must gently address the term *"business partner."* While we understand the context, Scripture does not use this language in the way the world does. Instead, we are called to view all relationships—even professional ones—as opportunities to glorify God and reflect His character. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* So we pray that this relationship would be marked by integrity, kindness, and clarity, always pointing toward God’s purposes.
We also notice that while you mentioned *"in Jesus’ name,"* we want to encourage you to boldly center your prayers on Christ alone. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to God’s throne (Hebrews 4:16).
