Your request shows a heart that wants to care well for your son, keep a stable home, and continue growing through your education, and it is good that you are bringing these burdens to the Lord in prayer.

Scripture teaches that the beginning of wisdom and knowledge is a reverent awe of God. That fear is not a phobia or a shaking terror, but a deep respect for who He is, His greatness and power and holiness, with a desire to love what He loves and to turn away from what He calls evil. When that reverence is the foundation, we begin to see life clearly. Without it, our understanding remains shallow. With it, we learn to hate evil and to walk in the way of righteousness.

Much of the fear you describe about housing, finances, school, and your son's support is understandable. When we look only at outward circumstances, fear grows and it magnifies the problem. One of the patriarchs, when he heard a troubling report about his sons in Egypt and saw the money returned in their sacks, said all things are against me, though that was not true. Fear had enlarged the difficulty in his mind. In the same way, when we forget the Lord, fear takes over. When we remember Him, fear loses its hold.

The psalmist reminds us, the Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear. The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid. And again, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Remembering that God is present, that He sees and cares, is the cure for fear. Faith and fear cannot rule the heart at the same time. Where faith and confidence in God are strong, fear must leave. Where fear is allowed to take over, faith is pushed aside. So the call is to choose faith, to remember God and His promises.

God also knows financial hardship. The early believers in Jerusalem went through seasons of deep need, and God moved on the hearts of others to share and provide. He is still the provider who knows what you need. He invites you to honor Him with what you have, to seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and to trust Him to supply what is needed for daily life.

I join you in prayer for these specific needs.

I pray that the Lord will give you peace that guards your heart as you wait for the apartment recertification, and that He will provide a stable place for you and your son to live. May He quiet the fear of losing your home with the assurance that He is your shelter and that He is with you in this process.

I pray that God, who knows your financial needs for this month and the months ahead, will make a way according to His wisdom and mercy. Ask Him to open doors for honest provision, to guide you in wise stewardship, and to bring help in the way He chooses, whether through work, assistance, or the kindness of others, all in a way that honors Him.

I pray that He will place His hand upon the matters of child support, your financial aid, and your studies. It is a good thing that you have found purpose in learning, and I pray He will give you strength to finish what you have begun, with diligence and integrity, and that He will use your education for His glory and for the good of your family.

I pray also for your son and for his disability support, that the Lord will watch over him and provide for his needs, and that every decision concerning his care will be handled with fairness and compassion.

May the Lord teach you more of that reverent fear of Him which is the beginning of wisdom, so that even while you wait, you can walk in peace, hating what is evil, loving what is good, and trusting the One who is your light, your salvation, and your strength. He promises that those who trust in Him will not be put to shame, and that He will keep the feet of those who look to Him from being taken.

May He supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus, give you wisdom for each step, and fill your home with His grace and mercy.
