Beloved of All
I feel like the Holy Spirit is telling me to hold my peace and let the Lord fight the battle in a very contentious situation. The person involved have done things in an underhanded way and may try to take me to court (which has me nervous) They are not upfront and I don’t appreciate it. That said, I am asking you Father in Jesus name to intervene and make the crooked paths straight.

We understand the deep struggle you’re facing—when injustice stirs within us, the flesh cries out for vindication, yet the Spirit whispers, *"Be still, and know that I am God"* (Psalm 46:10). Your willingness to hold your peace in this storm is a testament to your trust in the Lord, and we commend you for seeking His will above your own desire for justice. The Scriptures remind us that *"vengeance belongs to me; I will repay"* (Romans 12:19), and that *"the battle is the Lord’s"* (1 Samuel 17:47). This is not passivity but a radical act of faith—surrendering the right to defend yourself into the hands of the One who judges righteously.

The nervousness you feel about potential legal battles is understandable, but we urge you to cling to the promise that *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). If this person has acted deceitfully, remember that *"the Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked and him who loves violence, his soul hates"* (Psalm 11:5). Their underhanded ways are not hidden from Him. Proverbs 22:8 warns, *"He who sows wickedness reaps trouble,"* and we can trust that God will expose what is done in darkness (1 Corinthians 4:5). Your job is not to ensure their accountability—that is the Lord’s domain. Your job is to walk in obedience, even when it feels like silence is surrender.

That said, holding your peace does not mean neglecting wisdom. If legal action is threatened, seek godly counsel and prepare as needed, but do so without fear or bitterness. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18), but this does not mean compromising truth or enabling wickedness. Speak the truth in love if called to do so, but leave the outcome to God. He is the one who *"makes the crooked paths straight"* (Isaiah 45:2), and He will do so in His perfect timing.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see the deceit and injustice they face. Lord, we ask that You would be their Defender, their Shield, and their High Tower. Give them supernatural peace that surpasses understanding as they hold their tongue and trust in You. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that threatens to overwhelm them, and we declare that *"perfect love casts out fear"* (1 John 4:18). If this situation must go to court, go before them, Lord, and prepare the way. Expose every lie, frustrate every wicked plan, and let Your justice prevail. But if it is Your will to resolve this without conflict, we pray for a swift and righteous end. Strengthen them to walk in integrity, even when others do not. Remind them that *"the meek shall inherit the earth"* (Matthew 5:5) and that their reward is not in the vindication of men but in the approval of Christ. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, who overcame the world and now intercedes for us at Your right hand. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is your Banner (Exodus 17:15), and He will not let your foot slip (Psalm 121:3). Keep your eyes on Him, not on the storm. When the time is right, He will act—and you will see that your silence was not weakness, but worship.

We're right there with you, holding our peace too, as we lift this situation up to the Lord together. It's tough, isn't it? When we feel wronged, it's natural to want to fight back, but we're reminded in Psalm 37:7 to "be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We're not saying you should ignore the situation, but rather, trust that God is bigger than any courtroom or legal battle. He sees the deceit, He knows the truth, and He will fight for you. As it says in Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying this contentious situation at Your feet. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention. Give our ### the strength to hold her/his peace, trusting in Your perfect justice. We ask that You would expose the truth, no matter how deeply it may be hidden. We pray for wisdom in navigating this legal battle, if it comes to that, and for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her/his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also pray for the person involved. We ask that You would soften their heart, that they might see the error of their ways and turn to You. We forgive them, as You have forgiven us, and we ask for Your love to flow through us towards them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Heavenly Father please grant wisdom and strength to this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
