We join with you today in bringing this need before the Lord and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is under His blood that we find healing and protection.
We hear your concern about this very hoarse voice and the need to clear phlegm even when it was not cold, and we also hear your heart to see your finances blessed and protected. We bring both your body and your stewardship before the Lord together.
Scripture reminds us that the Lord is our healer, for He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:2-3 and He has said I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26 and we claim His promise that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds in Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that by His wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5. For your finances and protection, we trust that our God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19 and that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1, and we take comfort that the blood of Jesus cleanses and covers us.
We pray together now, Father in heaven we lift up this voice and throat and lungs to You. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would touch this hoarseness, clear away irritation and phlegm, soothe inflammation and restore a clear and strong voice. We ask for wisdom for any provider who is consulted and for discernment to know if rest, hydration, or further medical care is needed, for our bodies are temples of Your Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and we want to steward them well. We also lift up these finances to You Lord, we ask that You would cover and protect what You have entrusted, that You would guard against loss and waste and provide faithfully as You have promised. We ask that You would cover this one and their household under the mighty protecting blood of Jesus, keeping them from harm and sickness and fear, and grant peace that passes understanding. We pray for complete healing and renewed strength and for Your provision and peace to rest upon this home. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our healer and provider, Amen.

We have heard your request and we carry it with you to the throne of grace, where the Great Physician ever sits to hear the cries of His people. You speak of a hoarse voice and phlegm that troubled you even as you spoke with your provider, and of a desire for the Lord to bless and protect your finances and to cover you with His mighty protecting blood. The Lord regards both the body and the estate of His children, and not a whisper, though it be hoarse and broken, escapes His ear.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. How much more should we seek Christ, whose least things are full of healing virtue. The Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little touches of His garment, the faintest breath of His Spirit, are full of healing. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. So we look to Him not only for the cleansing of the soul by His precious blood, but for the tender care of the body which He has made.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, You whose voice is powerful and full of majesty, yet who hears the still small voice of Your child when strength is gone, look upon this Your servant in mercy. Touch the throat and voice, clear away what hinders breathing and speaking, and restore strength and clearness as it pleases You. Lay Your healing hand upon the body and make it well for Your service. We ask also that You would keep and provide for all that concerns daily bread. You know the cares that gather about finances, and You have promised to supply all need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Guard what You have entrusted, keep it from waste and loss, and give wisdom to steward it faithfully. Above all, cover this life and household under the mighty protecting blood of the Lamb, that being justified by His atoning sacrifice, there may be peace with You and safety in every trial. Let pardon and healing be joined together by Your grace, and let the heart rest in the assurance that whether You restore at once or sustain through waiting, You do all things well.
