Jeremiah 32:38-42
"They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear Me for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear Me, so that they will never turn away from Me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all My heart and soul." This is what the LORD says, "As I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will give them all the prosperity I have promised them."
You know, we have all been through some trying times, some of us are still traveling difficult paths. But one thing that remains constant, is God's desire to bless us and do good things for us. As I read this scripture today, it spoke to me about faithfulness - not God's faithfulness toward me, but rather my faithfulness toward Him. Oh the messes and trials He has brought me through. It wasn't always easy to believe or trust...but it was so worth it in the end.
Today, no matter what journey you are traveling in life, I encourage you to fear God, and never turn away from Him. His word is true and His love for you limitless...drink it in.
