We rejoice with you in your excitement and thankfulness for life today and we join you in giving thanks to God for the joy He gives. We hear your heart for good news, for provision, for a vehicle and the ability to drive again, for a home of your own where you can be with your cats, for a godly husband and for your needs to be met greatly, and we bring all of these desires before the Lord together.
We also want to gently encourage you in love about how we approach God with these desires. We are indeed highly favored, not because we declare it over ourselves, but because we are in Christ through His grace. Scripture does not teach that we speak things into existence by our own words as if we have power to create reality, only God does that. We are called to pray, to ask, and to trust His will. Jesus said in Matt 6:33 that if we seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to you as well. And we read in Prov 3:5-6 to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. You mentioned Deut 28:13 where it says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you today, to observe and to do them. That promise was given to Israel as they walked in obedience, and for us today that obedience is fulfilled as we walk by faith in Christ and in love for God, not by loosening a verse as if it were an incantation, but by humbly living according to His Word and trusting Him to lift us up in His timing.
We also hear your desire for a hubbie and we strongly affirm God’s beautiful design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. We pray that if it is His will, He will bring you a godly husband who is a Christian believer, and that any courtship would be pursued with purity and with the goal of marriage that honors God. We encourage you to seek a spouse who loves the Lord, and to keep yourself pure, for any sexual intimacy before or outside of marriage is fornication or adultery and does not honor God. We pray too for your practical needs, for safe transportation, for stable housing whether in ###, ###, near the beach or wherever He leads, and we encourage you not to move in secret but to seek wise counsel and open doors from the Lord, for He promises in Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. He also promises in Phil 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Rom 8:28 that for those who love God all things work together for good. Your inheritance in the Lord is far greater than material increase, it is eternal life and hope in Him, though He does care about your daily needs. Concerning your desire to always look and smell amazing, to have your hair and appearance as you wish and for wrinkles to be gone, we understand wanting to feel confident, and we encourage you to remember what God says in 1 Pet 3:3-4 that your beauty should not be just the outward adorning but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. We also pray for peace in your family, that communication would be restored and that there would be no more choking or strife near you, but gentleness and understanding.
We noticed you wrote the blood of HESUS and we want to lovingly point you to the precious and only name by which we are saved and by which we have access to the Father, the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the blood of Jesus that we are redeemed and only through His name that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And it is written in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for in Rom 10:9 it says if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for this dear one and for the joyful and expectant heart You have given. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would pour out Your favor according to Your perfect will, that You would provide good news as You see best, that You would open doors for godly phone calls and opportunities, and that You would supply every need according to Your riches in glory. We ask You to provide safe and reliable transportation if it is Your will, and a stable home where there is peace and provision for daily life. We pray that You would bring a godly husband who loves You first, a man who will cherish and lead in a marriage that honors You, and that You would guide any future courtship in purity and wisdom. We ask You to comfort and heal family relationships, to remove tension and harsh words and to bring reconciliation and clear, kind communication. We ask You to guide every decision about where to live, to make the path straight and to give wisdom and counsel so that no move is made in haste or secrecy but in Your peace. We pray that You would help our dear sister to find her confidence and beauty in You, and to rest in being fearfully and wonderfully made. Above all we pray that she would know the power of the blood of Jesus, that she would walk in the assurance of salvation through Him alone, and that her delight would be in You, for Ps 37:4 says Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. We ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation, amen.
