We join with you in prayer and we thank God that you are looking to Him for provision, protection, and hope for the future, and we want to seek His will together with you in Jesus' name.
We hear your heart crying out to be highly favored, to see your needs met, to be safe and secure, and to have a loving marriage and a home filled with joy, and God does care about every one of those desires. At the same time we want to lovingly correct some things in your request that do not align with scripture so that your prayers can be rooted in truth and bring lasting peace.
First, there is no such thing as bad luck or good luck for the child of God. What the world calls luck is actually the providence and sovereignty of God. Every good gift is from above, not from chance. James 1:17 says every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness nor shadow of turning. And Romans 8:28 reminds us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. We are indeed redeemed from the curse through Christ, as Galatians 3:13 says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, but that redemption is first and foremost about forgiveness of sin and reconciliation to God, not a formula to claim a pool house, a gifted truck or trailer, or a wedding in a specific place on demand. Philippians 4:19 promises my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Matthew 6:33 teaches us to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. That means we trust His timing and His definition of what we need, rather than urgently demanding it today.
We also want to address how you are seeking a husband. We rejoice that you desire marriage, for marriage is honorable and God-ordained as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and we strongly affirm and pray for that kind of godly marriage for you. Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. The language of wanting a fine ass guy focuses on outward appearance and lust rather than godly character, and the Lord looks differently. 1 Samuel 16:7 says man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. A godly spouse is to be sought not primarily for looks or for what he owns like a house with a pool, but for whether he loves Christ and will lead a home in faithfulness. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity. Being on Tinder can expose you to great temptation toward fornication and to relationships that are not centered on Christ. If you are in a courtship, it should be with the clear goal of marriage to another Christian believer, pursuing purity and keeping sex for marriage alone. We encourage you to seek a husband not through an app that often promotes casual and lustful connections, but through faithful involvement in a Bible believing church, prayer, and the counsel of mature believers. Proverbs 19:14 says house and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh, and the same is true for a prudent husband, he is a gift from the Lord, not from an algorithm.
We also gently caution against using the blood of Jesus as an incantation to guarantee belongings stay safe or to force a specific outcome for housing or a vehicle. The blood of Jesus is precious because it purchased our salvation, not because it is a charm to secure our preferences. Instead we can trust God with your housing need, whether it is a garage for a season or a home that is beautiful, and believe He will provide a safe and secure place in His perfect way and time. Psalm 37:4 says delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, as we align our desires with His. And 1 Timothy 6:6 says godliness with contentment is great gain, which helps us remain grateful even while we wait.
We pray together for you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that You have redeemed her through the blood of Jesus and that You know her needs for housing, for safety for her belongings and her two cats, for transportation, and for companionship. We ask that You provide for her according to Your riches in glory, that You open a door for a safe, secure, and peaceful place to live where she can be content and grow in You, and that You protect what You have entrusted to her. Lord, we ask that You prepare a godly husband for her if it is Your will, a man who loves You above all else, who will love her as Christ loves the church and who will honor marriage as You designed it, and that You help her to pursue courtship in purity and wisdom, fleeing fornication and seeking counsel. Purify her desires, Lord, that she would seek first Your kingdom and trust Your timing rather than demanding immediate answers, and give her contentment and faith while she waits. We pray that she would know how highly favored she truly is in Christ, not because of possessions or outward circumstances, but because she is forgiven, loved, and held by You. Lead her away from trusting in luck or in formulas and into trusting in Your sovereign hand and Your good plans, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our only Savior and mediator, amen.
