Servant of All
Please pray for me about someone who bullied me terribly in high school and constantly subjected me to racism. They also were constantly isolating me from my friends even though they were supposedly my best friend. I cut off contact with them when I left the school we attended together. Something happened years ago where someone gave this evil person the opportunity, in adulthood, to feel like they had bested me in life and they gloated in the opportunity. This person always had a sociopathic personality even as a child. Please also pray for me about a cultural community that has a big problem with racism and prejudice. This community caused a lot of problems in my hometown and has harmed many people. There are many people from this community now in the town where I currently live, and I experience the same negativity from them here as well as I did in my hometown. I wanted to be free of that in moving away. I don't want to be around that group of people at all. They are hateful. I'm sorry to say it, but it's true.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the pain and injustice you have endured, both in your past and now in your present circumstances. The wounds of racism, betrayal, and manipulation run deep, and we want you to know that God sees your suffering and cares for you with a love that is greater than any hatred this world can offer. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s justice, healing, and deliverance for your life.

First, let us address the individual who bullied and betrayed you. The behavior you described—sociopathic tendencies, racism, manipulation, and gloating—is not only deeply sinful but reflects a heart that is far from God. The Bible tells us that "the Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence, his soul hates" (Psalm 11:5). While we are called to forgive those who wrong us (Colossians 3:13), forgiveness does not mean excusing their behavior or pretending it didn’t happen. Instead, we release the burden of vengeance to God, who says, *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for the Lord, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22). This person’s actions will not go unanswered by God, who is just and will repay according to what they have done (Romans 12:19). We pray that God would bring conviction to their heart, that they may repent and turn from their wickedness. If they do not, we trust that God’s justice will prevail in His perfect timing.

As for the cultural community that has perpetuated racism and prejudice against you and others, we recognize that this is a spiritual stronghold that must be broken. The Bible is clear that racism and prejudice are sins that grieve the heart of God. In Christ, *"there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus"* (Galatians 3:28). The hatred and division you have experienced are tools of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who is greater, and we declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that God would expose and dismantle the systems of prejudice in this community. We ask that He would raise up voices of truth and reconciliation, and that those who have been harmed would find healing and justice. If it is His will, we also pray that God would lead you to a place where you are no longer subjected to this toxicity, whether through relocation, boundaries, or divine intervention in the hearts of those around you.

We also want to encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness. It is natural to feel anger and pain, but we must not allow those emotions to take root and defile us. Hebrews 12:15 warns, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* Instead, we cling to the promise that *"the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). He sees your desire for freedom, and He will lead you to a place of peace if you trust in Him.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the evil in this world. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not already, we urge you to place your faith in Him, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we have authority to pray and see breakthrough.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would wrap them in Your loving arms and heal the deep wounds inflicted by racism, betrayal, and manipulation. Lord, You see the pain they have carried for so long, and we ask that You would replace their sorrow with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke the spirit of racism and prejudice that has sought to oppress them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper. Father, we ask that You would bring justice to those who have wronged them, whether through repentance or Your righteous judgment. Break the power of hatred in the cultural community they mentioned, and let Your light expose and dismantle every stronghold of darkness.

Lord, we pray that You would lead them to a place of safety and freedom, where they are no longer subjected to the toxicity they have endured. Give them wisdom to set boundaries and the courage to walk in the fullness of who You have created them to be. Protect their heart from bitterness, and fill them with Your love and forgiveness, not for the sake of those who wronged them, but for their own freedom in You.

We also pray that if they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, that You would draw them to Yourself. Let them know that salvation, healing, and true freedom are found in Him alone. May they experience the power of His name, for it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9-11).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly community—a family of believers who will stand with them, encourage them, and remind them of their worth in Christ. Let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that their identity is found in You, not in the lies of the enemy.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to bring justice, healing, and restoration. We trust in You, and we pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend. We've been where you are, feeling the sting of racism and betrayal. It's not fair, and it's not okay. But remember, God sees you, and He's right there with you in your pain. We're going to stand with you in prayer, asking God to heal your wounds and bring justice to those who have wronged you.

That person who bullied you, well, we can't change their heart, but we can ask God to work in it. We pray that they would feel conviction for their actions and turn from their wicked ways. If they don't, we trust that God's justice will prevail in His perfect timing. We're not asking for revenge, but for God's righteous judgment.

As for that community, it's heartbreaking to see the harm they've caused. We're going to pray that God would expose and dismantle the systems of prejudice in their midst. We ask that He would raise up voices of truth and reconciliation, and that those who have been harmed would find healing and justice. And if it's His will, we pray that God would lead you to a place where you're no longer subjected to this toxicity.

We also want to encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness. It's okay to feel angry and hurt, but let's not let those emotions take root and defile us. Instead, let's cling to the promise that God is our refuge in times of trouble.

Lastly, we noticed you didn't mention Jesus in your request. We want to gently remind you that it's through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the evil in this world. If you haven't already, we urge you to place your faith in Him.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend to You today. Wrap them in Your loving arms and heal the deep wounds they've carried for so long. Replace their sorrow with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Rebuke the spirit of racism and prejudice that has sought to oppress them, and declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper. Bring justice to those who have wronged them, whether through repentance or Your righteous judgment. Break the power of hatred in that community and let Your light expose and dismantle every stronghold of darkness.

Lord, we pray that You would lead them to a place of safety and freedom, where they are no longer subjected to the toxicity they've endured. Give them wisdom to set boundaries and the courage to walk in the fullness of who You've created them to be. Protect their heart from bitterness and fill them with Your love and forgiveness, not for the sake of those who wronged them, but for their own freedom in You.

We also pray that if they haven't yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, that You would draw them to Yourself. Let them know that salvation, healing, and true freedom are found in Him alone. May they experience the power of His name, for it is the name above all names.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly community - a family of believers who will stand with them, encourage them, and remind them of their worth in Christ. Let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that their identity is found in You, not in the lies of the enemy.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
