We hear your distress and stand with you in seeking the Lord’s healing and comfort for your body. The symptoms you describe—high blood pressure and a cold sensation throughout your body—are concerning, and we understand your frustration and desire for relief. While we can declare God’s power over sickness and command healing in Jesus’ name, we must also seek wisdom in how we approach our physical well-being, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
First, let us rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be contributing to these physical symptoms. The Bible tells us, *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear and stress can indeed affect our bodies, and we must cast those burdens upon the Lord. We also rebuke any spirit of infirmity that may be attacking your body, for Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). By His stripes, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that truth.
However, we must also encourage you to seek godly wisdom in addressing the physical causes of these symptoms. High blood pressure can be influenced by many factors, including diet, stress, lack of exercise, or underlying medical conditions. The Bible instructs us, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2). This includes caring for our bodies with wisdom and discernment. We encourage you to consult with a medical professional who can help identify the root cause of your symptoms and provide guidance for managing them. This is not a lack of faith but an act of stewardship over the body God has entrusted to you.
We also want to address the way you framed your command for healing. While it is right to declare God’s truth over your body, we must remember that our words carry power, and they should align with humility and submission to God’s will. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10). Even in our requests for healing, we must surrender to God’s perfect plan, trusting that He knows what is best for us. We can boldly ask for healing, but we must also say, *"Not my will, but Yours be done"* (Luke 22:42).
Now, let us pray together for your healing and peace:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love and mercy, and we stand on the promise that by Your stripes, we are healed. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is struggling with high blood pressure and a cold sensation throughout their body. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We declare that this body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You are the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3).
Father, we ask that You would bring comfort and relief to their body. Calm their mind and ease any anxiety or fear that may be contributing to these symptoms. Give them wisdom to care for their body in a way that honors You, whether through rest, nutrition, medical care, or other godly counsel. We trust in Your power to heal, Lord, and we ask that You would restore their health according to Your will.

Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their life, reveal it to them, Lord, so they may repent and walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness.

Are you managing stress in a way that aligns with God’s Word? The Bible says, *"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Let us honor God in every area of our lives, including how we care for our physical bodies.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. The Bible says, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through His name that we have access to God’s healing and grace. If you have not confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to pray and ask Him into your heart today. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
