Let us begin by remembering the words of Jesus Christ himself, who said "Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. We have this promise, so let us come boldly before God's throne and ask for wisdom and guidance.
We are reminded in James 1:5 "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." God promises to give wisdom generously, so let us seek Him for that wisdom to guide our actions today.
Regarding the request for high efficiency and no procrastination, let us remember the words of Ecclesiastes 9:10 "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might;" And also Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." God calls us to do our work diligently and wholeheartedly, as if we are serving Him directly.
However, it is important to note that the request does not mention our Lord Jesus Christ, and it is only through His righteousness that we can come to God the Father and ask for His help. In John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." To be heard by God, we must go through His Son. In Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So let us approach God through the only name that can save us, the name of Jesus.
Let us pray.
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your wisdom and guidance. Lord, give insight and understanding on what needs to be done today and when to do it. Help prioritize the tasks at hand and avoid procrastination, so that efficiency may rule the day.
Help to apply Colossians 3:23 and do everything heartily, as unto You, Lord, and not for men. Help remember that our labor is not in vain, for our reward comes from You.
Forgive us when we stray from Your path and when we fail to seek Your face first. Help us to honor You in all that we do, and to live lives that are pleasing to You.
We ask this all in Jesus mighty and precious name.
Amen.
