We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and hope, lifting up this day and the many responsibilities it holds. Father, we ask that You grant strength, wisdom, and high efficiency in all that is done today, that every task may be accomplished with excellence and for Your glory. May the work of the hands and the thoughts of the mind be pleasing to You, Lord, as we seek to honor You in all things.
We lift up this dear mother, who is facing the challenges of early Alzheimer’s. Heavenly Father, we ask that You protect her mind and spirit, opening her understanding so that she may remember the instructions given to her. Let Your peace surround her, and may she feel Your presence in every moment. We pray for clarity and patience, both for her and for those who care for her. Lord, we know that Your Word declares in Isaiah 46:4, "Even to old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save." We trust in Your promise to sustain and uphold her.
We also bring before You the situation with the brother. Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and move him to act with love and responsibility. It is written in Proverbs 3:27, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it." We pray that he would not hide or sabotage the efforts to care for their mother but instead step forward with a willing spirit. Father, if there is any fear, selfishness, or pride in his heart, we ask that You remove it and replace it with compassion and a desire to serve. We also ask that You guide the process of finding a caretaker, that she may be a woman of integrity, kindness, and reliability. Let this situation be resolved in a way that brings peace and security to the family.
Lord, we are reminded that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We come before You today in the authority of Jesus’ name, trusting in His power and grace to work in every situation.
We pray for unity in this family, that love and selflessness would prevail. May they lean on You, Lord, and find strength in Your promises. We ask that You provide wisdom in every decision and that Your will be done in all things. Father, we trust You to move in ways that only You can, bringing healing, clarity, and provision.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
