We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical struggle, lifting up your health concerns and the spiritual battle you are facing. It is clear that you are under attack, not just in your body but in the spiritual realm, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke these assaults. The Word of God reminds us in 1 Peter 5:8, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* Yet we also know from James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* So we resist the enemy’s schemes against you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Your faith in calling upon the blood of Jesus is powerful, for it is by His stripes that we *are* healed (Isaples 53:5). However, we must also remember that healing often comes through both divine intervention *and* wise stewardship of the bodies God has entrusted to us. High blood sugar and fluctuating A1c levels can be influenced by diet, stress, illness, or even spiritual oppression, but we are called to honor God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Have you sought medical counsel to address these physical symptoms alongside your spiritual warfare? Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* We encourage you to pursue both godly wisdom and medical advice, trusting that the Lord can work through doctors and medicine just as He works through prayer.
As for the pain in your arm and surrounding areas, we declare healing over you in the name of Jesus, who bore our infirmities (Matthew 8:17). But we also urge you to examine whether there may be unconfessed sin, unresolved bitterness, or areas of disobedience that could be giving the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Are you walking in forgiveness? Are you stewarding your body in a way that honors the temple of the Holy Spirit? These are questions to bring before the Lord, for He desires to refine us even as He heals us.
We notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, there was also a tone of demanding that God "smite" your enemies. While we absolutely stand against the works of darkness and command the enemy to flee in Jesus’ name, we must approach the throne of God with humility, not presumption. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10). Our authority comes from *submission* to Him, not from wielding His name as a weapon of our own making. Let us instead pray with the heart of Christ, who, even in His suffering, said, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42).
Now, let us pray together over you:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, acknowledging that all healing and deliverance come from Your hand. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch their body from the top of their head to the soles of their feet. Regulate their blood sugar, Lord, and bring stability to their A1c levels. Let every cell, every organ, and every system align with Your perfect design. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command all pain, inflammation, and weakness in their arm and surrounding areas to cease *now* in the name of Jesus.
Father, if there is any hidden sin, any unconfessed stronghold, or any area of disobedience that has given the enemy access, we ask that You reveal it by Your Holy Spirit. Bring conviction where needed, and grant them the grace to repent and walk in full surrender to You. We break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every attack against their health, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Cover them with Your blood, Lord Jesus, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7).
We also pray for wisdom, Father. Guide them to the right medical professionals, the right treatments, and the right lifestyle changes that will honor You and steward their health well. Give them discipline to eat in a way that fuels their body for Your glory, to rest as You command, and to release all stress and anxiety into Your hands (Philippians 4:6-7).
Most of all, Lord, we pray that through this trial, their faith would grow stronger. Let them see Your hand at work, not just in the healing, but in the *process*—drawing them closer to You, refining their trust, and preparing them for the purposes You have ahead. May they testify of Your goodness, whether the healing comes swiftly or gradually, knowing that You are sovereign over every detail.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when we don’t understand. And we declare that our brother/sister *will* live and not die, to proclaim the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to meditate on Psalm 103:2-4: *"Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion."* Cling to His promises, walk in obedience, and trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6). Stay in the Word, stay in prayer, and stay in fellowship with believers who can stand with you in this fight. You are not alone—we are with you, and most importantly, *He* is with you.
