Beloved Warrior
YOUR WORD I HAVE HIDDEN IN MY HEART.
THAT I MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST YOU.
PSALM 119:11
GIVE ME, O LORD, A STRONG DESIRE
TO LOOK WITHIN YOUR WORD EACH DAY;
HELP ME TO HIDE IT IN MY HEART,
LEST FROM ITS TRUTH MY FEET MIGHT STRAY.
I feel that a time is coming soon when it will be important for our children and grandchildren to have the Word of God in their hearts to survive in this world. The evil side has been bombarding everyone with their ideas and doctrine. This has led to a culture that is wandering further and further away from the principles of the word of God. Young people are beginning to appear like ships without an anchor.
The physical faculties of sight and hearing may be important to learning God's Word, but they will never replace having God's Word hidden in your heart.
God has given me an earnest desire to study His Word. Better it is that I have hidden it in my heart and allow it to flow from there to my head. Once the Holy Spirit has placed scriptures in your heart, they cannot be taken away, nor will you ever forget them.
It is by these Scriptures hidden and cherished in my heart that I have grown. When I went through a period of despair it was a special scripture that gave me hope and brought me back.
Never settle for knowledge without understanding! Ask of God that your faith be of heart knowledge and not just head knowledge. Heart knowledge leads to faith. Head knowledge is just another religion without that faith.
A willing heart will always do what Jesus has designed for it.
THAT I MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST YOU.
