Hi there. I'm almost ### weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby, ###. I was told he is very sick with a cystic hygroma on the back of his neck that is getting larger and fluid in his lungs (hydrops fetalis) which is rare and has a very low survival rate. I've decided to continue with my pregnancy since he has a strong heartbeat and I want to give him the chance to fight. The doctors told me he will either be stillborn when I deliver him or on comfort care until he passes. My amnio hasn't fused (it should have weeks ago) so moving forward with an amniocentesis wasn't the best option last week. It absolutely devastates me and breaks my heart. I'm in need of a miracle and lots of prayer at this point. He would be my first child and I love him so much already. It would mean more to me than you will ever know for you to pray for little ###.
