We join you in bringing your request before the sovereign Lord Jesus and thank you for sharing it. We pray that He who healed with a touch and restored perfect health will lay His hand upon you and grant you healing according to His mercy and wisdom, and that He will keep you in health of body and soul as you walk with Him.

We ask Him to give you true knowledge and wisdom, not the wisdom of this world which passes away, but the wisdom that comes from God and is hidden in Christ, so that you may know His will, understand His word, and walk in discernment each day.

We ask for His protection over you, that He would guard you from harm and from every evil, and keep you under the shelter of His care, giving you peace and strength in every trial.

We also pray that the Lord will give you grace in your interactions with others, that your words and actions may be marked by love, gentleness and truth, and that your relationships may reflect His kindness and bring encouragement to those around you.

Continue to seek Him in prayer and in the Scriptures, trusting His goodness and His power to hear and to answer according to His perfect will. We commit you to His care in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our hope. Amen.

It is good that you have brought these needs before the Lord in the name of Jesus, asking for healing, for knowledge, for protection and for grace in your relationships with others.

Scripture teaches that knowledge by itself can make a person proud, but love builds up what is solid and lasting. It is good to want knowledge and to be set free by understanding, yet the most important knowledge is the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, and when you seek wisdom and understanding as you would seek hidden treasure, you find the knowledge of God. Through that knowledge grace and peace are multiplied to you, because in knowing Him you come to know His grace toward you. God has already given you everything you need for life and godliness through knowing Him, and as you add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge, and continue to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you will not be unfruitful. That kind of knowledge is pleasant to the soul and makes you discreet and steady, and it leads you to love Christ whose love is greater than knowledge itself.

For healing, we do pray and ask the Lord to touch your body. He is able to heal, and we should bring every sickness to Him with confidence. At the same time we recognize that He does not heal in every case in the way we ask, and when healing does not come it is not necessarily a sign of lack of faith or of hidden sin. There are times when God has a purpose we do not understand, as we see even in the lives of faithful servants in the New Testament who remained unwell though prayer was offered. Whether He brings immediate healing or walks with you through ongoing need, His purpose is gracious and you can trust Him.

For protection and for good interaction with people, the same truth applies. Your relationship with God is the center. When the vertical relationship is set right, the horizontal relationships begin to come into balance. Much of the struggle we have with others comes from a heart that is not at rest with God. When you love God, you are known by Him, and that love then builds up others. Knowledge alone can be used to assert your own liberty, but love looks to build up your neighbor. Seek to build others up in the love of Jesus, to do good and not only to avoid evil, and to live with others with understanding and kindness. That practical love will make your daily interactions more gracious and fruitful.

May the Lord grant you healing according to His wise will, keep you under His protection, cause you to grow in the true knowledge of Himself, and give you love that builds up everyone around you. We ask that He would draw you closer to Jesus, multiply grace and peace in your heart, and let His love be evident in all your relationships. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
