Beloved of All
Hi,
I love my mom, but she has had a very insensitive tongue on her for years. She is a believer but she is very critical and feels a constant need to put other people down. She does this on an almost daily (if not daily) basis. Over the years when I have confronted her on it gently, she feelsbadly, tells me she loves, me, but I see no real lasting change.
Her behavior has taken an emotional toll on my dad and it makes me sad. She behaves very selfishly a lot of the time and it angers me.
I am praying for a radical change of heart from my mom. This is a pattern of being critical, feeling bad, being critical, feeling bad. No lasting results as the critical behavior is the NORM in which she operates, not the occasional exeption that occurs when we are under stress.
