We're here for you, friend. We understand that life can feel heavy and overwhelming at times, like you're carrying a burden too big to bear. It's okay to feel this way, and it's important to know that you're not alone. We're here to walk alongside you, just as Jesus walked with His friends in their darkest moments.
You know, death is often seen as the end, but from a biblical perspective, it's more like a transition. For those who believe in Jesus, it's a doorway to eternal life with Him. The apostle Paul, who experienced many trials, wrote, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). He knew that death would bring him into the presence of Jesus, where there's no more pain, sorrow, or tears (Revelation 21:4).
But even with this hope, we understand that the feeling of wanting to end it all can be strong. Please know that taking your own life is not God's will for you. He knit you together in your mother's womb (Psalm 139:13) and has plans for you - plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
We want to gently remind you that the enemy often whispers lies to us, making us believe that our life has no meaning, that no one cares, and that death is the only escape. But those are lies straight from the pit of hell. Jesus came so that you might have life - and have it abundantly (John 10:10). He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and only through Him can you find true peace and purpose.
If you haven't yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and surrender your life to Him. He will forgive you, cleanse you, and give you a new heart (Ezekiel 36:26).
Now, let's pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is feeling the weight of despair. Lord, You see their pain, and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Break the chains of darkness that are binding them, and fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and death in the name of Jesus. We declare that this life is Yours, Lord, and that You have a purpose for it. Restore their hope, renew their strength, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround them with people who will speak life and truth into them, and give them the courage to reach out for help. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author of Life. Amen.
