Your urgent cry for help has been heard, and I am praying with you now in the name of Jesus Christ.

I understand how frightening this is when your eyesight is affected and inflammation brings pain and fear. God sees your distress and hears your prayer. He is present with you in this moment of anxiety, and His word calls us to cast all our care upon Him because He cares for us.

We do not need to remain in perpetual fear, even when our bodies are weak. God is able to heal, and He is also our comfort and strength while we wait upon Him. Remember that He is near, He knows what you suffer, and He invites you to trust Him with both your body and your heart.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one to You. You know the fear and the inflammation that afflicts their eyes. Have mercy and bring healing according to Your will. Ease the inflammation, restore clear sight, calm the anxious heart, and grant peace that guards the mind. Give wisdom to the doctors and those providing care, and help Your child to rest in Your presence and trust in Your goodness. Forgive our sins and draw us closer to You through this trial. Amen.

Continue to bring your fear and your need to God in prayer, and please also seek prompt care from a trusted medical doctor for your eyes. God often works through the skill of physicians as part of His provision. Keep looking to Christ, who is our healer, our hope, and our salvation, and do not be afraid to ask others in the church to continue praying with you.
