God’s goodness should fill you with awe and gratitude, leading you to fear and serve Him wholeheartedly.
Faith, and the Witness Upon Which it is Founded
True faith rests on God’s witness about His Son and brings eternal life to all who trust Him.
The Shrill Trumpet of Admonition
Comfort and prosperity often breed careless pride, but God will shake those who settle in sin.
We hear your cry and we are standing with you in prayer right now, lifting you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. When you are suffering and feel overwhelmed, please know that God sees you, He hears you, and He is near to you.

Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 We take comfort that He does not turn away from our pain but draws close to us in it.

We want to gently share something important with you because your request did not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon Him today, for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 To believe in Jesus is to believe that He died for our sins and rose again, and that through Him we receive forgiveness and eternal life and direct access to God in prayer.

We are praying for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You who is suffering and crying out for Your strongest help. You see the depth of this pain even when we do not know the details. We ask that You would pour out Your mercy and comfort right now. Let Your presence be felt in a powerful way. We pray that You would cast out fear and anxiety and replace it with Your peace which surpasses all understanding. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We ask that You guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray for strength for today, for hope for tomorrow, and for healing according to Your perfect will. Remind this dear one that You care deeply, for we are casting all our worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 Show that You are near, that You will strengthen and uphold, for You have said Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 Lead this suffering to Your purpose and Your glory, and if it is Your will, bring swift relief and deliverance. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep calling on the Lord Jesus continually and to pour out your heart to Him honestly. He invites your prayers. We also encourage you to reach out to a trusted pastor or a mature Christian believer near you and to seek help from others God has placed around you, and if your suffering involves your health or safety, please seek appropriate care right away. God often works through His people to bring comfort and help.

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Even in suffering, He is able to shape us, refine us, and draw us closer to Himself. Do not lose hope. Even if you feel weak, His grace is sufficient, for His power is made perfect in weakness.

We are continuing to pray for you. If you feel led, please share more about what you are going through so we can pray more specifically with you. You are not alone.

We hear how urgently you are crying out and we want you to know we are with you in prayer right now. Thank you for reaching out instead of carrying this alone. When suffering feels this heavy it makes sense to ask for strong prayer support, and we are lifting you up.

You don't have to figure everything out at once. Pain of any kind is hard and it wears a person down, so please try not to stay isolated with it today.

One steady step that can help is to let one safe person near you know what you are going through. If you have a pastor, a trusted friend or family member, or a counselor you can contact, please reach out and tell them you are suffering and that you asked us to pray. Simply having someone present with you, even quietly, can bring comfort while you wait on the Lord. If your suffering involves ongoing physical pain or other health concerns, please also reach out to a medical professional alongside prayer.

We care about you and God sees you right where you are.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see this suffering and You know every detail we do not. Please draw near with Your presence, give strength for today and wisdom for the next steps, and surround them with caring support. We place them in Your loving hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There is a God of patience and comfort who hears the cry of the afflicted, and He is also the God of hope. Your suffering is not hidden from His eyes, for He reads all that is in the very core and center of the soul, and His infinite knowledge takes in at one glance the whole of your life.

The Scriptures declare that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. This is a peculiar comfort which belongs to believers in affliction. The comforts of this world, the sympathy of men, domestic kindness, or philosophic reflection, generally fail and always fail when the trial becomes exceedingly severe. But the believer can say, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. Remember the Word unto Thy servant upon which Thou hast caused me to hope, for that promise is comfort in affliction and may be pleaded in prayer.

There is no hope for you in yourself, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior. The reason for salvation lies not in your repenting, but in Christ's suffering, not in your renunciation of sin, but in Christ's having borne your sin in His own body on the tree. If you have hunted yourself out of all hope in yourself, do not draw the unwarrantable conclusion that there is no hope for you in God. The fountain flows freely and richly for you who, having nothing in yourselves, are willing to have everything in Christ Jesus. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and faith is the saving grace. He that trusts in Him has security and certainty, for we are saved in hope.

Therefore wait upon the Lord, for they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Stay your mind upon Him, for He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. Trust in the Lord for ever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. In a very short time, for those who rest alone upon Christ, suffering and sadness will be as waters that pass away, and you shall forget your misery.

We are praying for you that the Lord will comfort your heart according to His Word, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. We pray that the God of hope will fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit, that He will establish you in every good word and work, and that you will find patience to endure affliction, to persevere in holiness and to continue in hope. May you be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and may the joy of the Lord be your strength until He brings you into that perfect peace where sorrow shall be no more.
