Hey everyone 👋🏾 update about loud upstairs neighbors/ disrespectful corporate

Genesis Faith Martyr

Disciple of Prayer
I heard wrong about the loud neighbors upstairs getting evicted; they are staying. I've told corporate everything, and they said that they don't believe me—especially about her following me every day in my apartment. I've let them know that my roommates' and my doors get stuck when they run, jump, and stomp, but they keep saying they will talk to them.
The lady at corporate is very disrespectful to me, and I haven't been disrespectful one time. I'm not the first person to report them. It was a woman that stayed here before me, and she was in a wheelchair. What they are doing to me, they did to her until she moved out. I just don't understand how corporate can not do their job. Well, I do, because demons stick together.
I know GOD is working on my behalf. I've been a Christian for ### years now, and the Lord has never let me down. He has never, ever left my side, so I know the Lord is working. Pray for me y'all, in Jesus' name, amen.

We hear the heaviness in your update and we are standing with you in prayer. We understand how discouraging it is to be told you are not believed, to be spoken to disrespectfully when you have remained respectful, and to endure the daily disturbance of running, jumping and stomping that even causes the doors in your apartment to stick. We also hear your concern for the woman who lived there before you, and we admire your steadfast faith as you declare that the Lord has never left your side and is still working on your behalf. That testimony is precious and true.

We take comfort that God sees what corporate does not see and hears what others dismiss. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and we cling to His promise, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 You are not forgotten or unseen in that apartment. He also promises, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8 We pray that peace over your home even now, that you would be able to rest without fear or constant noise.

We encourage you to continue as you have been, doing what is up to you to live at peace. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18 and A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1 Your respectful conduct before a disrespectful response honors the Lord, even when it is not returned. We also encourage you to keep a careful written record of dates, times and the effects in your apartment, and to continue to appeal respectfully to those in authority, for we are taught to be subject to authorities yet also to seek justice with patience. At the same time we remember, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We want to gently speak to the thought that demons stick together. We understand the frustration that makes it feel that way, and scripture does teach that we face spiritual opposition, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 Yet the people themselves, the neighbors upstairs and the woman at corporate, are not demons. They are people made in God's image who are accountable to Him and in need of His grace. We are called not to repay evil with evil, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 and to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us. But we say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Matthew 5:44 This does not excuse their wrong, but it guards our own hearts from bitterness while we trust God to act justly.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You that You have never left our sister and never will. We ask You to be her refuge and strength in this apartment, to guard her sleep and to let Your peace dwell there. Lord, we ask You to work in the hearts of the upstairs neighbors, convict them to walk in consideration and kindness, to cease the running and stomping that disturbs the home below. We pray for the woman at corporate and for all who have authority over this housing, that You would give them ears to hear, eyes to see, and a will to do their job with fairness and respect, to protect all residents including those who are most vulnerable. We ask You to open a way for a just resolution, whether through a change of heart, a proper enforcement of the rules, or a peaceful provision for our sister if You will to move her to a quieter place. Keep her from discouragement and from repaying disrespect with disrespect, fill her with patience and wisdom to know how to speak and when to be silent, and let her testimony of Your faithfulness continue to shine. We trust Your timing and Your justice, and we thank You that You are working even when we cannot see it. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We were glad to get your update, though we are sorry to hear how discouraging these past weeks have been. Being unheard when you have spoken up clearly, and feeling disrespected when you have tried to stay respectful yourself, is exhausting. It makes sense you would feel worn down, especially hearing that someone before you had a similar experience and ended up leaving.

We are encouraged that you are holding onto the truth that God has not left your side through all these years. That steady presence matters especially when other people do not seem to listen or act fairly.

One practical step that often helps when there is ongoing noise and building issues like doors sticking is to keep a brief written log. Noting dates, times and what happened, and then putting concerns to corporate in writing and keeping a copy, can create a clear record if you need to ask for help from a local tenant advocacy group or housing office later. It also helps you not have to carry every detail in your head.

We are praying for relief in your home, for wisdom as you decide next steps, and for kindness to meet you in these conversations.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see how tired they are and how much they want peace at home. Give them wisdom, steady rest, and the assurance of Your nearness each day. Guide those in authority to act justly and bring a workable path forward. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your words have been received with prayerful attention and with sympathy for the trial you are bearing in your own dwelling. To be disbelieved when you speak truthfully, to be treated with disrespect when you have shown none, and to hear the continual disturbance above you which even causes your doors to catch and stick, is a heavy burden to carry day after day. That another who dwelt there before you, a woman in a wheelchair, endured the same and at last removed, makes the sorrow feel heavier still.

We rejoice to hear your testimony that you have been a Christian for many years and that the Lord has never left your side. Hold fast to that truth. Remember that where God begins to work He does not ask us to finish, He always completes His own work. Those that have trusted in God find Him to be as real as if they could see Him. You have trusted in the blood of Jesus Christ, and that trust was not misplaced then and is not misplaced now. Take God at His word and believe Him, for it is true humility to do so.

When you feel forgotten, do as our Lord did in His anguish. His lament was an address to God, not against God. He cried, My God, My God, and drew near by that very cry. If you think God has left you, do not give up prayer, but pray more earnestly than ever, and declare your ways to Him as the Psalmist did, for He hears you and will teach you His statutes. He is the God of the hills and the God of the valleys, alike present in the quiet and in the stormy affliction, and He pleads the cause of His people. It is written, Thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul. Your God is not worth having if He cannot help you when you want help, and He can help you now.

We would exhort you also in the matter of love to your neighbour. Hard words will not convert the heart, and hard deeds will not make a neighbour Christian. Love him still, even while you seek what is just and right. When a man finds something good and safe in God, he likes to recommend it to his neighbours. Let all see that you labour for the Lord in whom you are trusting, and speak well of God to all about you, that your endurance under contradiction may commend the Gospel.

We will pray for you, and we pray with you now. O Lord our God, Thou seest this Thy child in this place of trial. Thou knowest the noise and the unkindness, the weariness of being disbelieved, and the disrespect shown by those in authority. Plead the cause of Thy servant. Grant patience and heroic endurance, keep the heart from bitterness, and give peace within those walls which now are shaken. Move upon those who have power to act, that they may do justly and speak truthfully and show kindness. Give to the neighbours above a spirit of consideration. Above all, keep this soul trusting not in the mercy of man but in the mercy of God through Jesus Christ, who alone saves, and let present peace lead to future rest. Hear this prayer for Jesus sake, in whose name we ask it. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
