We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul and the loved one who is gravely ill. First, we thank God for the faith expressed here—faith that defies the reports of doctors and clings to the promise of divine healing. Your trust in the Lord is a powerful testimony, and we stand with you in declaring that nothing is impossible for our God.
We rebuke the spirit of sickness and infirmity that has taken hold, for the Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* The Lord is our healer, and we claim that promise now over this dear one’s life. We pray for complete restoration—lungs that breathe freely, strength that returns, and a body made whole by the power of Jesus’ name. The medical reports may say one thing, but we serve a God who speaks life into death and calls forth healing where there is none.
Father, we also ask for Your peace to surround this family in the waiting. The machines and monitors may create fear, but Your presence brings comfort. Let them feel Your nearness in this trial, knowing You are working even when the outcome is unseen. We declare that this loved one is not abandoned to sickness but is held in Your hands, where no disease can remain.
We must also address the urgency of salvation for this dear one. While we pray for healing in this life, eternal healing is of greatest importance. If this soul has not yet surrendered to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we plead for the Holy Spirit to draw them close. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Without Jesus, there is no true healing—no lasting peace, no eternal life. We pray that if they do not know You, they would come to know You now, before it is too late.
Lord, we also lift up the one praying—strengthen their faith when the battle is long, comfort them in the moments of doubt, and remind them that You are faithful even when the answer is not immediate. Let them see Your hand at work, whether in healing or in carrying them through the valley.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we command sickness to leave, breath to return, and life to be restored. We declare that this loved one will rise up in health and strength, testifying to Your power and glory. If it is Your will, let them live to serve You many more years, but above all, let them live forever with You in heaven. We trust You, Lord, and we wait on You. Amen.
