Here is the redacted title: Prayer for ###

We join you in lifting up this precious one before the throne of grace and we thank God with you that his life was spared in this plane crash. What a terrible trauma to endure, and we grieve with you over the broken neck and legs and the difficulty he now has speaking. We know our God sees his suffering and hears every prayer offered on his behalf.

We are reminded that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. And we cling to the promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. Though his body is greatly wounded, the Lord is able to restore and to heal, for He says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3, and that by His wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5.

We pray together for him now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and thank You for preserving his life. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon his neck and his legs, to bring restoration to bones and nerves and muscles according to Your will. We ask You to touch his ability to speak, to restore clarity to his speech and to guide every doctor, surgeon, nurse and therapist who cares for him with wisdom and skill. We pray You would ease his pain, calm any fear and trauma from the crash, and surround him and his family with Your peace that passes all understanding. We pray that You would strengthen his faith through this trial and let him know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28, even when we do not understand Your ways. We ask that his recovery, whether it be swift or slow, would bring glory to You and be a testimony of Your mercy and power.

We also want to gently remind you that we have access to the Father only through Jesus Christ. We noticed His name was not mentioned in this request, and we want to share that Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by calling on the name of Jesus and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead that we are saved, Romans 10:9. If this dear one does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw him close to the Savior who suffered for us and who understands our infirmities, and that he would put his trust in Christ for eternal life as well as for daily strength.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer for complete healing, for patience and hope in the long journey of rehabilitation, and for comfort for all who love him. May the Lord be his strength and his song, and may he feel the prayers of many upholding him. We ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our healer and our hope, amen.

We were so moved reading your request for ###. To survive a plane crash is an enormous mercy, and yet to face a broken neck, broken legs, and difficulty speaking is a heavy road for him and for everyone who loves him. Thank you for bringing him to us for prayer.

It makes sense that this feels overwhelming. When someone we love cannot speak as before, we can feel helpless about how to comfort them. Your steady presence matters more than finding perfect words. Sitting with him, speaking calmly, holding his hand if he welcomes it, and letting him know he is not alone can be a real comfort in these early days.

One small thing that often helps families in this kind of hospital season is keeping a simple notebook by his bedside. You can jot down what the doctors and therapists share, questions as they come up, and what seems to help him communicate or rest. It gives you something concrete to bring to his care team, including asking them about the best ways to support his speech and understanding right now.

We are also praying for you as you carry this burden. Please make sure you are not walking through it alone. Lean on trusted family, friends, or your pastor, and allow yourself rest and meals between visits.

Father, in Jesus name we lift ### to You. You see his pain and his injuries, and You know him fully. We ask for Your nearness and peace over him, for wisdom for every doctor and therapist caring for him, and for strength and comfort for those who love him. Guide each next step according to Your will and hold them all in Your care. Amen.

I'm not sure🤷

I don't think I am going to heaven, I sin willfully because the urges are strong. Even if I pray about them I still sin willfully.

We have brought this heavy burden before the Lord with sorrowful and yet hopeful hearts, for the tidings of this terrible affliction have moved us to prayer.

To hear that a life was spared when death seemed certain, and yet that the body is so grievously broken, the neck and the legs shattered and the power of speech taken away, is to feel how frail is our frame and how near we ever stand to eternity. We do not lightly pass by such suffering, but we hear in it the call of God who says, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. It is our duty and our privilege to comfort one another with these words, and to carry this afflicted one and those who love him to the throne of grace.

We pray that our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God even our Father, which hath loved us and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, would comfort this sufferer's heart and establish him in every good word and work. Though his lips can scarcely frame his thoughts, the Lord knoweth all things. Christ's omniscience is a comfort here, for He understandeth the groanings which cannot be uttered and He readeth the heart when the tongue faileth. Not a pain in those broken bones, not a fear in that silent spirit, is hidden from Him who bore our sicknesses.

We beseech the God of patience and consolation to grant patience in this long trial. Such brokenness of body must needs be attended with weariness of soul, but that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. May the Word of God be his comfort in his affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. When the Lord would comfort us He quickeneth us, and so we obtain comfort. We pray that even upon that bed of pain the Scriptures may be opened, read and remembered, that he may be able to say, This is my comfort in my affliction. Remember the Word unto Thy servant upon which Thou hast caused me to hope.

There is hope for those who are saved, and that hope is strengthened by the patience and the comfort of the Scriptures. We pray that this dear man may have a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ, for there is no hope in ourselves, but there is hope in Him whom God hath provided to be the Saviour of such as we are. If he hath already believed, may that hope shine the brighter in this darkness. If he hath not yet believed, may this solemn deliverance from death lead him to lay hold on Christ, in whom alone is salvation, that his soul may be healed though his body still suffer.

We look also to that Tree of Life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves, the least things about Christ, are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We pray that healing virtue may flow down to him, that according to the will of our wise Physician his body may be restored so far as it may be for the glory of God, and that in any case his soul may be kept in perfect peace.

We ask the God of hope to fill him and all who watch over him with all joy and peace in believing, that they may abound in hope. May they find comfort not only for the present moment but constancy to endure, and may they gather comfort from the future, knowing that He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing. The Lord is able to make even this grievous affliction to work for good, and to cause His Word to quicken and sustain where human strength utterly fails.

We will continue to remember him before the Lord, that the Divine Comforter may overshadow his bed, that patience may have her perfect work, and that hope may anchor his soul within the veil.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

I would like to ask for prayer. I have no idea what to do with my life. I have found work that seems perfect for me, yet I have had no success. There are patterns that seem to suggest that what has happened to others in my family wants to happen to me, and I do not accept that. Anywhere I go...

We were dating for 9 months and this Christmas was supposed to be our first of many, but everything went wrong. I had the courage to show my dad my feelings about this man, and my dad rejected immediately, and he had a right point to do it. “Don’t unite with unequal joke” I know that, but I was...
