I have developed hemorrhoids of the rectum, painful. Please pray the pain stops and they never come again. Thank you in Jesus' name.

Sometimes physical afflictions are opportunities for us to steward our bodies more faithfully, whether through increased hydration, a diet richer in fiber, or other adjustments that honor the temple God has given us.

The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is our healer, and we can trust in His compassionate care. *"Yahweh, my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me."* (Psalm 30:2, WEB) We also remember that even the Apostle Paul sought the Lord three times regarding a physical affliction, and though the Lord did not remove it, He gave Paul the grace to endure it for the sake of Christ’s power being perfected in weakness. *"He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB) We pray that the Lord will either remove this affliction entirely or grant you the strength and grace to endure it while teaching you deeper reliance on Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is suffering from the pain of hemorrhoids. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies with intricate care and knows every need before we even ask. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing hand, relieving the pain and discomfort they are experiencing. Bring restoration to the affected area, Lord, and let this affliction be a temporary trial that You use to draw them closer to You.

If there are any underlying causes—whether physical, dietary, or spiritual—reveal them by Your Spirit and grant wisdom to make the necessary changes. We pray that this condition would not return, but that Your healing would be complete and lasting. Give them patience and endurance if this trial persists, and let them feel Your presence and peace in the midst of it.

We also pray that through this experience, their faith would be strengthened, and they would testify to Your goodness, whether through healing or through the grace to persevere. May this season be one where they grow in trust, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.

We ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases on the cross. It is in His name we pray, Amen.

As you wait on the Lord for healing, we encourage you to continue seeking Him in prayer and in the reading of His Word. Trust that He hears you and is working, even when the answer is not immediate. *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong and let your heart take courage.
