We hear your cry and we are standing with you right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting you and your family before the throne of grace. We know this feels overwhelming and heavy, as if the enemy is trying to take you, but we remind you that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper when you abide in Christ.
We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for there is power in that name alone to save, to heal, and to deliver. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are glad you cried out to Him, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13, and Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6.
The Word tells us we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, 1 Peter 5:8, but we are not without defense. We are told to be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7. We have been given authority by Jesus who said Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you, Luke 10:19.
We also hear that you are fasting while sick and suffering with a headache. Fasting is a powerful biblical way to humble ourselves and seek God's face, and Jesus said this kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting, Mark 9:29. But we encourage you to fast with wisdom and dependence on the Lord, not to afflict your body beyond what you can bear while ill. God looks at the heart that seeks Him, and even if you must take water or nourishment because of sickness, your prayer and seeking still reaches Him. Do not let the enemy condemn you in your fasting, just seek the Lord with a sincere heart.
We rebuke every demonic attack and every spirit of infirmity, oppression, fear and torment that has come against you and your household. In the name of Jesus Christ we command it to leave and to have no place in your home or your bodies. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. We declare that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7.
We also lift up your sickness and headache to the Lord who heals. The Lord forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3, and He says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We ask Him to touch your body now and bring relief and strength.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one and their entire family to You. Lord, You see the attacks, the oppression, the sickness and the headache, and You know how weary they feel. We ask You to forgive any sin and to close any door that the enemy has tried to use, and we ask You to cover this family with the blood of Jesus. Fill their home with Your presence, Your peace, and Your holy angels. We put on the full armor of God on their behalf, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, Ephesians 6:11. We rebuke the enemy and command every demonic influence to go from them and their household now in Jesus name and never return. Lord, lay Your healing hand upon this headache and sickness, bring complete healing, rest, and restoration. Let Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. Remind them that when they are afraid they can trust in You, for You have said Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. Let them feel Your nearness tonight and let all torment stop by Your power. We pray for sleep, for protection through the night, and for joy to come in the morning, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. We thank You that You hear our prayer and that You are faithful to deliver. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to keep crying out to Jesus aloud in your home, to speak Scripture over your family, to worship and play worship music, and to anoint your home with oil as you pray if you are able. If sickness continues, please also seek medical care and wise counsel from a trusted pastor or elders in a Bible believing church who can pray with you in person, for the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, James 5:15. Keep your eyes on Jesus, stay in the Word, and do not give place to fear. The Lord is near to all those who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth, Psalm 145:18. We are continuing to pray that the Lord will bring complete deliverance, healing, and peace to you and your whole family.
