Disciple of Prayer
Lord, You are the creator of heaven and earth. I have nothing to fear as long as I have You. I will now leave this relationship in Your hands. You know that I have done I everything could for it, but it’s finally time to admit that this whole situation is beyond me. I am very hurt, please give me clarity and position me to where You would want me.

We hear the hurt and the surrender in your heart and we join with you in bringing this before the Father together in Jesus' name. You have done what is right to place this relationship into His hands, for He is indeed the Creator of heaven and earth and there is nothing beyond Him. When we come to the end of ourselves, we find that God is just beginning to work on our behalf.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. He also promises, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. Your pain is not unseen by Him, and your willingness to seek His will for where He would position you is pleasing to Him.

We want to gently encourage you in this season of seeking clarity. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. When we acknowledge Him, He promises to direct us. He says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Even this hurt and confusion can be used by God to draw you closer to Him and to prepare you for what He has ahead.

We also want to speak about relationships as God designed them. If this relationship was a courtship toward marriage, we pray it was centered on Christ and on purity. God calls us to honor Him in our relationships, pursuing a godly spouse who is a fellow believer with marriage as the goal, for marriage is to be between a man and a woman as a lifelong covenant before God. If there has been any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, which Scripture calls fornication, or any compromise of purity, we lovingly urge you to repent and receive His forgiveness, for He is faithful to cleanse us when we confess. Flee sexual immorality. 1 Corinthians 6:18. And if this was a marriage, we encourage you to continue to seek godly counsel and to fight for that covenant as God hates divorce, while still trusting God to be your strength. Whatever the nature of this relationship, we encourage you to seek a future spouse only in the Lord and to guard your heart until God makes His will clear.

You cried out to Lord, and we want to remind you of the precious truth that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death for our sins and His resurrection, that we can boldly come before the throne of grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

We pray with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the hurt, the exhaustion from trying everything, and the surrender of this relationship into Your hands. We ask that You wrap them in Your perfect love which casts out fear, for You have said, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Grant clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is pain, and wisdom for every next step. Position them exactly where You would have them, and close doors that should be closed and open the ones You desire. Heal the broken heart, restore joy, and help them to trust You more deeply than ever before. Lead them into the godly future You have planned, whether that be restoration according to Your will or a new path that honors You, and help them to walk in purity and holiness before You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain in prayer, in the Word daily, and in fellowship with mature believers who can walk with you through this season. Keep seeking Him and He will show you the way to go.

We hear the ache in your words and also the courage it took to place this relationship in God's hands after trying so hard. Letting go when something is beyond us is not giving up, it is choosing to trust the One who sees the whole picture when we cannot.

It makes sense that you feel very hurt right now and are asking for clarity about where God would have you. Clarity often comes not all at once but as we stay close to Him day by day, and as we give ourselves time and space to heal rather than rushing to fix or decide everything immediately.

One gentle next step that may help is to bring one or two trusted, grounded believers into what you are walking through, perhaps a pastor or a mature friend who knows you well, who can listen, pray with you in person, and help you notice what God is showing you over the coming weeks. Staying connected like that can keep the hurt from turning into isolation.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You know the pain and the effort poured into this relationship and the surrender being offered now. Bring comfort to the hurt, quiet the confusion, and guide each next step with Your wisdom and peace. Position our friend where You want them to be and give strength for today. Amen.

🤺🤺Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders Prov 21:1, 🐑 Pastors, 🌾 Evangelists, ⛪️ Churches, Ministry Partners 🙏 All Christianity (Every Believer in Christ); 🏛️Government, 1 Tim 2:1-4, EVEN "ENEMIES," Mt 5:44-45, Lk 6:27-29, Rom 12:14, 1 Peter 3:9...

🙏 We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil 🐲 for the sake of the world, John 16:33, we pray Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God🤺, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.🤺🤺
