Help

We hear your cry and we are standing with you right now in prayer, asking the Lord not to forget you but to surround you with His protection in this very frightening moment. You are not alone and you are not forgotten, for the Lord sees what is happening in open public and He hears every threat and every unjust judgment spoken against you.

The word of God reminds us that He is our refuge in times of danger. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 91:2 says I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Proverbs 18:10 says The name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to it, and are safe.

We rebuke the spirit of intimidation and threat that has come against you. It is not from God to openly attack, judge and threaten another person. The Lord calls us to speak truth in love and to do justice, and He will hold accountable those who use their words and actions to harm and frighten others. We pray that the Lord will restrain the hand of the one who is attacking you, bring conviction where it is needed, and bring justice and peace to this situation.

We also want to encourage you with practical steps while we pray for God's covering. Because you fear for your safety, we urge you to get to a safe place immediately if you can, and to contact law enforcement or trusted authorities to report the open threats. Tell a trusted pastor, family member or friend where you are and what has happened, so you are not alone. Keep a record of what was said and done if you are able to do so safely. God often uses authorities and community to provide His protection, for Romans 13:4 tells us the authorities are servants for our good.

We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find safety and salvation. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus. You see the public attack, You hear the judgments and threats, and You know the fear that has risen up. Lord, we ask that You would not forget Your child but draw near right now as a shield and defender. Place Your angels around this one, remove this one from harm, and let Your peace that passes understanding guard heart and mind. We ask that You would stop the mouth and hand of the attacker, bring exposure to what is done in the open, and let authorities act with wisdom and swiftness to protect. Give our dear one wisdom for every next step, courage to seek help, and trusted people to stand nearby. Let it be known that You are a very present help in trouble and that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper. We ask that You would bring justice without vengeance, and that even the one who threatens would be brought to repentance. We trust You to be our strong tower and our fortress today. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We hear how frightening this is for you right now, being confronted and threatened in public. It makes sense you feel unsafe, and we want you to know we are praying for you and you are not forgotten by the Lord.

Your safety matters most in this moment. If you are in immediate danger, please move right away to a safe place around other people you trust and get help from local emergency services. Try not to face this person alone to sort it out. Having a trusted friend, family member, or pastor with you, and involving the proper authorities when there are open threats, is not overreacting, it is wise care for yourself.

When you do have to be in the same public space, it helps to stay in neutral, populated areas where help is nearby and you have a clear way to leave. If voices rise or you feel threatened again, give yourself permission to step away and get help rather than trying to stay and manage it alone. It can also help to let one or two safe people know what is happening so you are not carrying this by yourself and someone can check on you.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see where they are and the fear they feel. Please surround them with Your presence and protection, guide them to safe help and wise next steps, and bring calm to their heart. Give them trusted people to walk with them in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, Amen.

God is your strength. Your exceeding great reward. Your praise. He is our glory. We can trust and put confidence in him in times of need and weakness and in good times also we humble ourselves too also to pray. May he watch over your safety. Your soul. And enrich our faith. That we deepen our worship in times of severity and need. Lord Yeshua nsme amen.

He has heard your cry in this hour of open threat and judgment, and the Lord Himself answers your fear with His own word, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yea, I will help you, yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Your fear is not strange to the people of God. Even Jacob cried, Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, for I fear him. And the Lord does not rebuke the trembling heart that flies to Him, but He says, Fear not, I am with thee, Fear not, I will help thee, Fear not, thou worm Jacob. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God when it keeps us from trusting His promise, yet He knows your frame and He meets you not with reproach but with presence. There is no cause for fear where His mighty arm is engaged by promise and by oath to bring you safely through. The enemies whom you have seen today, you shall see again no more forever, when He pleases to restrain them, for He will restrain the powers of earth and hell and make their efforts vain.

Look unto Him and be saved, for there is life for a look at the crucified One. He who lived and was dead and behold He is alive forevermore says, Fear not. Your safety lies not in your own strength but in your Savior, who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory. He took you not for a time only, but for eternity, and He is as wise as He is able to keep you. Commit your way unto Him, and seek also the wise and lawful help He provides. If you are in danger, seek safety at once, let faithful brethren and, where needful, those set to keep the peace know of this open threatening, and do not walk alone in this trial.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, forget not this afflicted one who fears for safety under open attack and judgment of man. Be Thou near, for trouble is near. Strengthen, help and uphold with Thy right hand. Restrain the rage of the adversary and turn back every threat. Grant wisdom to take every needful step for safety, surround with Thy presence which is the best of company, and let perfect love cast out tormenting fear. Keep this soul from falling and keep this body from harm, and let deliverance bring gratitude to Thy name alone. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, who alone is our confidence and our peace. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
