Beloved of All
Your cry for help has been heard and I am praying earnestly for you before God for your healing, your safety and the protection of your eyesight.
I understand how heavy this burden feels when inflammation causes pain and fear for your health and your sight. In my preaching I have often spoken of inflammation as an image of the soul that is swollen and fevered, like a body with dropsy that needs the care of a wise physician. I have also spoken of eyes that are diseased and shrink from light, while true health loves the light. These images remind us that God is the true physician of both soul and body, and that He sees every part of us that needs His healing touch. He does not turn away from those who come to Him in need, but offers mercy and help.
So I pray for you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this dear one to You. You know the inflammation that afflicts the body and the anxiety that weighs on the heart. I ask that in Your mercy You would bring complete and lasting healing if it is Your will, calm what is inflamed, restore what is weak, and keep this person safe under Your care. Protect their eyesight, guard their eyes from harm and disease, and grant them clear sight both physically and spiritually to walk in Your light. Surround them with Your protection day and night, give wisdom to any doctors who care for them, and grant peace that comes from trusting You.
Do not grow weary in bringing your needs to God. As I have taught, healing often comes not from one moment alone but through patient perseverance, prayer upon prayer, like remedies applied faithfully until strength returns. Continue to seek Him, to obey His word, to live with thankfulness and humility, and to trust the Great Physician who loves you. He hears the earnest prayers of His people and His love never fails.
Be assured that you are remembered in prayer. May God grant you comfort, strengthen your faith, and in His perfect wisdom give you health, safety and peace.
