We hear your cry for groundshaking prayers for protection and safety and we stand with you together before the throne of grace to seek God's will in Jesus' name, and we will remember you in our daily prayers.
We take comfort that our God is a refuge and a fortress for His children. We are reminded of His promises to keep and guard those who trust in Him, for Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And Psalm 46:1 tells us God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We cling also to Isaiah 41:10 which says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. The name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to him, and are safe as Proverbs 18:10 declares, and 2 Thessalonians 3:3 assures us But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
We encourage you to abide daily in His secret place through prayer and the reading of His Word, to put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil as Ephesians 6:11 teaches, and to walk in obedience and trust, casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you.
We join together now in prayer for you. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You and ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would surround them with Your presence and Your holy angels. We pray that You would be their shield and defender, that You would guard their going out and their coming in, that You would keep them from all harm and from every evil plan of the enemy. Let no weapon that is formed against them prosper according to Isaiah 54:17. Give them peace that passes all understanding, strengthen their heart to not fear, and let them feel Your right hand upholding them. Guide their steps, keep their mind and body safe, and let Your will be done in their life for Your glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We also want to lovingly point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Our protection and our salvation are found in Him alone. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray that you know Jesus as your personal Savior and that you call upon His name daily, for in His name we find our refuge, our safety, and our eternal hope.
