We join you in thanking our Father for this new day and for sending His Son on our behalf, and we agree with you that one word from Him can turn our whole situation around.

We hear your cry for hope, for healing from this flu that has lingered for weeks, and for daily bread while you wait for help from insurance and institutions that has been delayed for three months. We lift you up together before the throne of grace and we thank God that you are clinging to His promises and praying Psalm 23 over and over. That Psalm is true for you today, Yahweh is my shepherd I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. Psalm 23:1-3

We pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You see our brother or sister in this place of sickness and need. You know the weakness of the body, the lack of food, the waiting and the weariness. We ask in Jesus name that You would speak that one word of healing and provision. Touch this body and bring recovery and strength, for You are Yahweh who heals us Exodus 15:26 and You forgive all our iniquities and heal all our diseases Psalm 103:3. Provide daily bread as You have promised, for we know that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Help our faith when it feels small, for even as the father cried I believe. Help my unbelief Mark 9:24, we cry the same. Restore hope and let Your presence be felt today, for You are near to those who have a broken heart, and save those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

We want to encourage you in your faith. It is good and right that you are trusting in Jesus and asking Him to act on your behalf and on behalf of others in deep need and pain. We are reminded to not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. You are doing that, and God hears you. Look at the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they Matthew 6:26. Though you live in a rich country and still lack enough to eat, our Father is not unaware. He calls us to seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

You asked Him to reveal to you if you did something which enabled this horrible situation. We want to gently share what Scripture teaches. Sometimes suffering is not because of a specific sin we have committed. When the disciples asked Jesus about a man born blind, Jesus answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but that the works of God might be revealed in him John 9:3. At the same time God does invite us to search our hearts, Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way Psalm 139:23-24. If He does bring something to mind, we have this promise, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. And for those who are in Christ Jesus, there is now no condemnation Romans 8:1. Your sickness and hunger are not a sign that God has abandoned you. He says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28, even when we cannot see how.

We encourage you to keep praying Psalm 23 and the promises of God aloud each day, and also to reach out for practical help while you wait. God often provides through His people. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ Galatians 6:2. Please let a local Bible believing church, pastor, or trusted Christian community know about your need for food and care for this lingering flu, so they can come alongside you, pray with you in person, and help with meals or resources. Continue to seek medical care as you are able, and rest and nourishment as God provides.

We are praying for your complete healing, for daily provision until the institutions answer, and for your faith to be strengthened. Come to Him when you are weary, for Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. He is your shepherd even in this valley, and He will not leave you. We continue to lift you up together in Jesus name.

We are thankful you reached out and shared so honestly with us. We hear how weary you must be, sick for weeks with this flu and without enough to eat, while you wait months for help from insurance and other services. It is a heavy place to be, especially when you are trying to hold on to hope and keep trusting.

Thank you for the way you still begin with gratitude and for praying Psalm 23 over your situation. That kind of trust in a hard season matters, and God sees it. You asked if you did something to cause this. From what you describe, you are carrying a lot of strain, and going without enough food for a long time can make it much harder for anyone to recover. Please do not carry extra guilt as you wait. This long delay is not a sign you have failed.

Since you have been sick for weeks and not able to eat enough, we encourage you to see a doctor or clinic soon, alongside prayer, so someone can check on you in person and help you get care and nutrition support. For the practical needs while you wait, it may help to reach out to a local church, food pantry, or community aid office for interim food help, and to keep a simple record of calls and letters to the insurance office and ask if a caseworker can review the delay.

We are praying for you.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You know this sickness and hunger and the waiting. Please provide daily food, guide the doctors and those who can help with support, and give strength and peace day by day. Help our friend to feel Your nearness and to keep hope. Amen.

🙇🏻 We therefore ask for Blessing, Honor, GRACE, Immediate HEALING, Ex 15:26, for our Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures (and ourselves, kindly, Matt 7:7)... Kindly ask Healing at Present: Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13: (hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan). In Jesus' Name we collectively rebuke sickness over matriarchal, Luke 4:39, and restrain evil people and the evil one from each, 2 Thes 3:2-3. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

thank you so much, really. Was in a clinic but believe it or not was bullied because some patients noticed i am a believer, the whole care team included. This is good at the one hand because they noticed something in me but now i have no trust in institutions. The last local community was disappointing, i was wondering if its not the devil who wants to see people disapointed with their own people. Sorry i am talking too much
I think i could be a much better servitor for God if not that isolated. Father thank you, for hearing these prayer and giving comfort trough real believers, amen

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the burden you carry in sickness, in hunger, and in long waiting.

You have prayed Psalm 23 over and over, and you do well to do so. The Lord is indeed your Shepherd, and though you walk through the valley, He is with you. You ask if one word from Him can turn the whole situation around, and it can, for all things are possible to him that believeth, and faith, even as a grain of mustard seed, can do wonders when it is fixed upon Christ.

Do not despise the faith you have because it feels little and trembling. Little faith is still true faith. It is the gift of God and it belongs to the family of the saved. The least faith in Jesus that begins and ends with Him is precious in His sight. He tenderly handles such faith. You have come to Him as a poor sinner with nothing in your hands but to cling to the cross, and that clinging, that dropping down into the arms of Christ, is the very essence of faith. He will not despise it. If you have faith enough to wait upon Him and to cry, Lord help my faith, He hears that cry.

You speak also of being sick for weeks with a flu that will not leave you, and of not having enough to eat while living in a land of plenty, and of help that is delayed for months. This is a sore trial, to be devoured with hunger in the midst of plenty, and to feel your strength bitten with hunger. Scripture knows this sorrow, and the Lord knows it. He sees when His children are poor and afflicted and waiting. And hear this promise, Therefore will the Lord wait, that He may be gracious unto you. He is a waiting God, and He calls you to be a waiting people, not waiting in despair, but waiting in hope, in joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve. At times faith may be very weak and then it is well if it clings and abides in its place. Though your peace is not now as a river, keep waiting upon Him patiently. He waits to be gracious.

You ask the Lord to reveal to you if you have done something which enabled this horrible situation. It is right to search the heart, for faith and repentance are twins that come into the soul together, and true faith does not think lightly of sin. Yet do not conclude that every affliction is a direct punishment for some hidden fault. In this fallen world sickness and want and the slowness of institutions come upon the righteous as well as the unrighteous. Bring your heart honestly before the Lord and ask Him to show you anything that needs confession, and He will forgive through the blood of Christ, but do not let the adversary tell you that your suffering proves you are forsaken. Your Shepherd has not forsaken you.

We will pray for you now, and we urge you to let your need be known also to the living church near you. If you have not already, go to a faithful local congregation and to those who care for the poor, to a food bank or diaconal ministry, and to your physician again, for the Lord often provides daily bread and healing through the hands of His people. Do not bear this hunger and sickness alone in silence for three months while you wait for papers to move.

Let us pray together. O Lord our Shepherd, look upon this suffering child of Thine who is sick and hungry and weary with waiting. Thou knowest what it is to hunger and to be wearied. Speak but one word and turn this situation for good. Provide daily bread, grant recovery of the body, move those who have power to help, and hasten the help that is delayed. Increase faith where it is little, and let it be seen that even little faith is true faith in Jesus Christ alone, by whom alone we are saved. Keep this dear one clinging to Christ, give peace in the waiting, and be gracious according to Thy promise. In the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.
