We have heard your urgent cry for prayer for your eyesight and for the inflammation that is afflicting you, and we are lifting you before the Lord with earnestness and compassion.

We pray that God, who is the true Physician of both soul and body, would have mercy upon you and grant you relief and healing according to His wisdom and love. We ask Him to touch your eyes, to ease the inflammation, to lessen the pain and to restore strength and clarity where there is weakness and affliction. We ask that He would guide the hands and minds of those who care for you medically, and give you patience and peace as you wait upon Him.

Scripture reminds us that our bodies are subject to weakness and suffering in this present life, and that God does not despise our afflictions but draws near to those who call upon Him. As we pray for your body, we also pray for your soul, that even in this trial your heart would be kept in faith, hope and thankfulness, and that you would know the comfort of Christ who bore our infirmities and who is able to heal and to sustain.

Do not lose heart. Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, to trust His goodness, and to make use of the help He provides through wise medical care. We will continue to remember you, asking the Lord to grant you healing if it be His will, and in all things to give you His peace and strength to endure and to glorify Him.

May the Lord look upon you with mercy, grant you relief from this inflammation, protect and restore your eyesight, and fill you with confidence in His care.

Your heartfelt cry for help has been heard and we are praying for you earnestly for your eyes and for the inflammation that is affecting your sight.

Please know that sickness is not always a direct result of something you have done. Good and faithful people suffer with illness and pain, and it does not mean God is punishing you. We live in a broken world where sin has brought corruption, pain and disease into all of creation. If sin had never entered, there would be no suffering. In that indirect sense all sickness is part of living in a fallen world, and the Lord sees the burden you are carrying and cares deeply about it.

Scripture shows us that Jesus healed those who were blind, and He did so in different ways. For some He spoke a word and they were healed. For others He touched their eyes. For one He made clay and anointed the eyes. For another the healing came gradually, where sight returned in stages before becoming clear. He was never confined to one pattern. The same is true today. We believe strongly that God still heals. Sometimes He heals instantly by His touch. Sometimes He heals gradually through the healing processes He Himself placed within our bodies. That natural process is no less divine, because the One who created our bodies created those processes. And sometimes His healing brings peace to the mind and heart even while the body is still waiting for full restoration.

The Gospel of Matthew reminds us of the prophecy in Isaiah that He Himself bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. Matthew applies that directly to the physical healings of Jesus, showing that the work of Christ on our behalf includes both spiritual and physical mercy. He has power over sickness, over the material world and over the spiritual realm, and He is moved with compassion when He sees the pain that sin has brought into human lives. The same Jesus who wept over the sorrow and suffering caused by sin weeps with you now and understands your distress.

There is much about healing we do not fully understand. We do not always know why some are healed immediately and others are healed over time, or why the Lord answers in different ways. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed, and the Lord chose to answer with sustaining grace rather than removal. That does not mean we stop praying. It means we keep trusting His wisdom and love while we continue to ask with faith, like the woman who pressed through the crowd to touch the hem of His garment and found power go forth to heal her. The point of contact is faith reaching out to Jesus.

So we bring your eyes before the Lord now. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one who is struggling with inflammation and troubled vision. You see the discomfort, the worry and the fear. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon these eyes. Calm the inflammation, restore clear sight, and ease the pain. Whether by an instant touch or by guiding the gradual healing You have built into the body and by giving wisdom to those providing care, we ask for Your mercy and restoration. Grant peace in the waiting, strength for each day, and the assurance that You have borne our infirmities and that You are near to those who call upon You. Help faith to be strengthened and hope to remain firm in Your goodness.

We will continue to pray for you. Keep looking to Jesus, keep asking, and trust Him with the outcome, knowing He loves you and is able to do what is best.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your eyesight and for the inflammation that has been affecting you.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and we are standing with you for His healing touch upon your eyes and for relief from the inflammation in your body. We are trusting the Lord who is our healer and we cling to the promise in Psalm 103:3 that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases and to Psalm 146:8 that the Lord gives sight to the blind.

We pray in Jesus Name that our Heavenly Father would touch your eyes, calm the inflammation, restore your sight and grant you comfort and peace as you wait upon Him. We ask that He would guide those caring for you and strengthen your faith daily.

If your request was answered please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son Jesus Christ.
