We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you in bringing all of this before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name. Your desire to get better, to not mess things up, to have the truth known, and to be reconciled with your family is precious to God, and He sees every detail of what you are walking through.
We want to gently share something important we noticed, that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we can be saved and our prayers heard. Jesus Himself said, No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And Scripture also says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. It is through Him that we can receive forgiveness for the ways we have driven others away and find the grace to walk differently going forward.
We grieve with you over being slandered and misunderstood. God hates false witness, for you shall not give false testimony Exodus 20:16 and Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh Proverbs 12:22. He sees the truth even when others do not, and He promises He will bring your righteousness out as the light, and your justice as the noonday Psalm 37:6. We pray that the truth will indeed come out in His perfect timing and way, not for revenge but for healing and restoration. While you wait, we encourage you to continue walking in truth and gentleness, trusting Him to clear your name rather than striving to defend yourself in your own strength.
We also lift up your sister and your cousin. We pray that God will open your sister's heart and use your cousin to speak words of grace and truth that she can receive. We know God desires reconciliation and peace among family, and we pray He will soften hearts and remove any bitterness. Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32.
You mentioned wanting those two people whose names were redacted to reach out and be closer, and asking forgiveness for anything you did to drive them or anyone else away. We pray for those relationships according to God's will. If these are friendships, we pray God will restore trust and draw you closer in a healthy, godly way. If either of these is a romantic interest, we want to encourage you in biblical principles, that any romantic relationship should be pursued as courtship with the goal of marriage between a man and a woman who both believe in Christ, honoring God with purity, for God calls us to flee from sexual immorality and to honor Him with our bodies 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. We pray God will give you clarity whether closeness with them is His will, and if so, that it would be built on Christ and lead toward a godly marriage if that is His plan.
We hear your desire to leave a bad situation if it is not going to improve, and we pray for wisdom for you. God promises, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray you will seek godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or mature believers, to discern whether to stay and work for healing or to step away for your health and holiness. Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33, so we pray God will surround you with people who build you up and help you get better, and give you peace and courage for whatever step He leads you to take.
We also pray for your heart not to live in fear of messing everything up. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray He will quiet your anxiety as you cast your cares on Him, for In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. He is near to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 and He works all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that we can approach Your throne through Him alone. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your forgiveness where there has been sin, and thanking You that in Christ there is cleansing and a new beginning. Lord, bring the truth to light in Your perfect way and vindicate where there has been slander. Heal the hurt and clear this name for Your glory. Touch the sister's heart and use the cousin as an instrument of Your peace to bring understanding and reconciliation. For the two people on this heart, we ask Your will be done, draw them closer only if it is godly and good, and help all relationships to honor You. Grant wisdom whether to remain in this difficult situation or to leave it, open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and give courage to follow You. Help this dear one to get better day by day, to walk in Your strength and not fear failure, and to know Your nearness and love. We ask all this in Jesus' name, amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to stay connected to a Bible believing church, and to keep confessing truth while trusting God with the outcome. He is faithful and He will guide you step by step.
