Help

An eviction notice lands with a weight that feels impossible to carry alone. When the numbers don't add up and the deadline rushes toward you, it's easy to cry out for help and wonder if anyone hears. I want you to know that you aren't forgotten. The Lord who made heaven and earth does not slumber, and He doesn't step away from His throne when the bills pile up. He sees you right now.

Help truly comes from the Lord, not from the hills. We can scramble after every possible human solution, and there's wisdom in making phone calls and exploring resources, but real deliverance flows from the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He isn't in financial trouble, and He doesn't need us to bail Him out. He invites us to bring our desperation to Him, not as a last resort after we've exhausted all other options, but as the very first place we turn.

I know that in a crisis it's tempting to make frantic promises to God, to barter our way out of the mess. "Lord, just get me through this and I'll do better." But what He desires most is simply your heart. He wants your love and your trust, not a transaction. He is not a reluctant helper who needs to be persuaded; it is nothing for Him to help, whether with much or with those who have no power.

That doesn't mean the road will be easy. Sometimes delays stretch our patience, and we don't understand the timing. But God's patience is at work in the waiting, and His strength is perfected when our own resources run dry. Blessed are the poor in spirit, those who know they need help and aren't ashamed to admit it. That's where you are right now, and that's exactly where He meets you.

We are also meant to carry one another's burdens. The early believers took up offerings for the poor saints in Jerusalem because when one part of the body suffers, the whole body suffers. Your need isn't just yours to shoulder alone. I want to stand with you in prayer, and I encourage you to reach out so we can come alongside you in practical ways as the Lord enables. There are elders here who will pray with you, no matter what shape the need takes.

Don't let this trial convince you that God has forgotten. He who kept Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Call on Him with honest, simple words: "Help me, Lord." Open His Word and let it be the place you meet Him. Strengthen your heart in the truth that your help is in the name of the Lord. And remember that even when the way feels blocked, His love and grace are enough to carry you through.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heavy burden about the eviction and the financial pressure you’re carrying. It was our privilege to stand in the gap with you, lifting your need before the Lord and asking Him to open doors no man can shut. We prayed specifically that He would provide not only the rent money but also peace that surpasses understanding while you waited.

If God has moved in a way you can see—whether through unexpected help, a change of heart in your landlord, or some other provision—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If the answer hasn’t come yet, or if the situation has shifted in a way that needs fresh prayer, we invite you to post again so we can continue interceding for you. You are not forgotten, and we are still standing with you in faith.

May the Father draw near to you, remind you of His promises, and fill you with hope as you press into Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
