Disciple of Prayer
Prayer request Its a dark time Spiritual battle- false work accusations, unfair dismissal lost of income, heart, mental health issues. Wife, children doubting Jesus ... Prayer in His Love, Grace & Will for a break Through. Thank You

We stand with you in this dark and trying time, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The accusations, injustice, and financial strain you face are not from God, and we rebuke every lying spirit that has come against you and your family. The Lord is your defender, your provider, and your strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). He sees your struggle and will not abandon you.

We also lift up your wife and children, who are wrestling with doubt. The enemy often strikes hardest where faith is being tested, but we pray that the Holy Spirit would open their eyes to the truth of God’s Word. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). We pray that their hearts would be softened, their minds renewed, and their faith strengthened as they seek Him. Doubt does not have to be the end, it can be the beginning of a deeper, more intimate walk with Christ if they turn to Him in humility.

Father, we ask for a breakthrough in every area of this family’s life. Restore what has been lost, financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Heal their hearts and minds, Lord, and replace anxiety with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their marriage and family, binding them together in love and unity. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every curse, every lie, and every attack of the enemy in Jesus’ mighty name.

We also encourage you to stand firm in faith, even when the battle feels overwhelming. Remember the story of Job, though he lost everything, he did not curse God, and in the end, the Lord restored him doubly (Job 42:10). Your story is not over. God is working even in the darkness, and His light will break through. Keep pressing into Him, trusting that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with godly community, believers who will stand with them in prayer, encouragement, and practical support. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, reminding them that they are not alone. We pray for wisdom in their decisions, strength in their weakness, and hope in their despair. May they emerge from this trial refined, stronger in faith, and more dependent on You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re so sorry you’re walking through this, false accusations, lost income, health struggles, and seeing your family wrestle with doubt all at once is a heavy load. It makes sense that it feels like a spiritual battle, because it is. In times like these, the darkness can seem impenetrable, but even small steps toward light matter.

One of the hardest things in a crisis is sorting the urgent from the merely pressing. Right now, your immediate needs are stability and safety: your physical heart, your mental health, and your family’s daily bread. We’d gently encourage you to see a doctor about the heart and mental health symptoms, not as a substitute for prayer, but because we believe God works through skilled hands and wise counsel. On the financial front, linking up with a reputable financial counselor or a church deacon fund can help you navigate the income loss with concrete next steps, budgeting, temporary assistance, or job-search support.

For the deeper battle, don’t carry this alone. A local church can be a spiritual support system: a pastor, a small group, or a mature believer who’ll listen, pray, and help you see God’s presence when you can’t feel it. And as for your wife and children, their doubts may soften as they watch you cling to Jesus in the storm, not by preaching, but by steady, honest faith that doesn’t pretend it doesn’t hurt. Keep loving them, keep showing up, and trust that the Spirit is at work even when words fail.

Let’s ask the Lord together:

Jesus, You know every false word spoken, every fear that grips this family’s heart. In Your mercy, break through the darkness. Provide work, income, and wise helpers. Guard their bodies and minds, heal their hearts, and gently draw each one back to confident trust in You. We ask not for a quick fix but for the steady breakthrough that comes from Your faithfulness. Amen.

Boil not in your own pot of fretting, for that will never cook a meal of comfort. You are in the dark, and the adversary whispers that God has forsaken you, yet faith teaches us to see Him who is invisible. Job once said, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” That is a faith worth having, the faith that can stand when the fig tree does not blossom, when the flocks are cut off from the fold, when the children doubt and the cupboard grows bare. You are not the first to walk this furnace path, and the Lord who upheld Job in all his losses will uphold you. Look to Him for this divine support.

Your heart cries out for a breakthrough, and well it may. But recall that the trial of your faith is more precious than gold. When a man trusts in God and all is smooth sailing, we see what sort of faith that is; but when the tempest roars and the waves leap into the vessel, then the reality of faith is proven. Your wife and children doubting, this is a weighty grief, yet Job lost his children and still sinned not with his lips. Pray for them, be patient with them, and let your own steadfast trust be a silent sermon. Faith is spiritual common sense; it reckons on the promises when feelings would say otherwise. Do not think that your little faith is no faith. The weakest faith is real faith, and it is born from above. The Lord does not despise the smoldering wick.

That sense of being wronged by false accusations and unfair dismissal stings deeply. Job was misjudged by his friends, yet he held his integrity. Do not charge God foolishly in your pain, as though He were unkind. He knows the way that you take, and when He has tried you, you shall come forth as gold. The enemy hurls his fiery darts, doubt, despair, bitter thoughts, but here is the shield of faith to quench them all. Faith means trust in Christ. It is the dropping of the soul into His arms, believing that He is strong to save, and that He will put strength in you. Even now, though you feel weak, He will strengthen you for the controversy, that you may stand and see His salvation.

Repent of every rebellious thought, for we are wrong and God must be right. Yet repentance and faith are twins, and you cannot have the one without the other. Trust Him still. Your glory may not be fresh in you at this hour, as Job lamented of his former days, yet the Lord restores and doubles blessings in His time. Lay hold of the promise: “I shall be anointed with fresh oil.” The God who put strength in Job, in Abraham, in Moses, will put strength in you. Only believe. Do not let your doubt contradict your faith. If you have any faith, why do you doubt? Weak faith in a strong Christ is a sure anchorage.

Now, beloved, pray in His love, and watch for the breaking of the dawn. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise. He will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert. Hold fast the shield of faith. It protects the whole man, head, heart, and hand. Though your heart is heavy, yet faith lifts up the hands that hang down. Go today to the mercy seat, bring your empty cup, and ask for the oil of grace. He will fill it to overflowing. I join you in praying for a breakthrough, according to His will, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
