We hear your cry for help and stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The Bible assures us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke any spirit of fear, bad luck, or oppression that may be attempting to cling to you, for it is written, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
First, let us address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first step to walking in the fullness of God’s protection and blessings.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would break every chain of bad luck, fear, and oppression that has been attempting to cling to them. Lord, Your Word declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We claim that redemption over their life right now. We rebuke every spirit of poverty, misfortune, and despair in Jesus’ name, for it is written that the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. Keep them safe from all harm and evil, for You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You would reveal to them any area of their life where they may have unknowingly opened a door to these attacks. Show them if there is any sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties that need to be broken. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Lead them in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
We also pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Empower them to walk in victory, joy, and the abundant life that Jesus came to give (John 10:10). Let them experience Your goodness and mercy all the days of their life (Psalm 23:6). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for setting them free. We declare that this is a new season for them, one of blessing, favor, and divine protection. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). Speak the Word of God over your life daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Do not neglect the gathering of the saints, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we strongly encourage you to find one where you can grow in your faith and be discipled.
Lastly, remember that God’s plans for you are for good and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not a victim of circumstance but a child of the Most High God, and He has destined you for greatness in His kingdom. Walk in that truth, and let no lie of the enemy steal your joy or your peace. You are loved, you are protected, and you are victorious in Christ Jesus!
