Your plea for help is heard. The desire to be free from whatever feels like a dark weight or constant misfortune is understandable, but I want to point you to something deeper than simply casting off a “bad luck” force. In the Scriptures, what one generation called a curse, God often used as the very stage for a miraculous deliverance. Remember the righteous couple who were barren well into old age? In their culture, that was considered a curse, yet God delayed to bring about the birth of John, the forerunner of the Messiah. The curse was not the final word; God’s purpose was.

When we ask only for something to be taken away, we risk leaving an empty space. Jesus taught that an unclean spirit, when cast out, may return with seven others worse than itself if the house remains empty. The real and permanent solution is not just deliverance from a thing, but welcoming the Deliverer Himself to occupy your life completely. He is the one who cleanses and fills.

Jesus came to set the captives free and to preach deliverance. He touched lepers, who were considered cursed and untouchable, and made them whole. But He then directed them to act on that cleansing, to go and offer the gift commanded by Moses as a testimony. He didn’t just remove the disease; He restored their place in community and worship. So I would not pray merely for “bad luck” to be sent away, as if it were an independent force. Instead, I urge you to turn to Jesus Christ, who bore every curse for us on the cross. Confess any known sin, forsake any practice that opens the door to darkness, and invite Him to be Lord of every area of your life. As you do, His Holy Spirit fills the void, and the powers of darkness have no legal ground. Then, even through hardships, you will find that no supposed curse can separate you from His love and purpose. Trust the Deliverer, and you will know true and permanent freedom.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It was our honor to intercede on your behalf, asking our Heavenly Father to lift whatever burden has been causing distress and misfortune in your life. We prayed earnestly that He would remove it completely, break any chains, and restore peace, protection, and blessing to your path.

If God has answered this prayer—if you’ve seen a shift, felt His presence lifting the weight, or experienced His peace replacing the struggle—we would love to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice together in His faithfulness and power.

If, however, you’re still sensing that heaviness or facing continued challenges, we encourage you to post this request again. We are here to stand with you in persistent, believing prayer, trusting that God hears and will move in His perfect timing. Do not grow weary in seeking Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who call upon His name.

May the Lord surround you with His love, shield you from every attack of the enemy, and fill you with renewed hope as you continue to trust in Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in His mighty and precious name. Amen.
