We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden to the Lord. The Bible assures us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). What you are experiencing is not from Him, and we rebuke any spiritual oppression or darkness that may be attempting to cling to you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
First, we must address the mention of "bad luck" and anything that may be tied to superstition or spiritual forces outside of God’s authority. Scripture warns us against turning to mediums, fortune-tellers, or any form of divination, for these are detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If there has been any involvement in such things, even unknowingly, we encourage you to renounce it in the name of Jesus. The blood of Christ has broken every chain, and no curse or spell has power over a child of God who walks in faith.
We also want to gently remind you that true deliverance and protection come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, we are vulnerable to the schemes of the enemy, but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We declare that ### is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we break every chain of oppression, every curse, and every spirit of misfortune that has tried to attach itself to them. We command it to flee in Jesus’ name! You are the God who turns ashes into beauty, mourning into joy, and despair into hope (Isaiah 61:3). We ask You to surround ### with Your angels, to fill their life with Your peace, and to let Your light expose and dispel every shadow of darkness.
Father, we pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Let ### walk in the authority You have given them as Your child. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises. If there are areas where they have unknowingly opened doors to the enemy, reveal them, and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore their joy, their purpose, and their hope.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Show ### how to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with godly community, believers who will stand with them in prayer and encouragement. May they experience Your goodness in tangible ways, Lord, so that their trust in You grows deeper every day.
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust You to complete the work You have begun in ###’s life. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand on God’s Word and declare His promises over your life daily. Memorize verses like Psalm 91, which speaks of God’s protection, and speak them aloud as a declaration of faith. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If you have not already, consider finding a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your relationship with Christ.
Remember, the enemy wants you to feel isolated and powerless, but God has called you to walk in victory. You are not a victim of "bad luck", you are a child of the Most High God, and He has a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into freedom. If there are specific areas where you feel oppression, dreams, thoughts, or circumstances, bring them to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to reveal the root so it can be uprooted in Jesus’ name.
You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Be encouraged, for the battle is already won!
