HELP

The string of desperate pleas tells me you have reached the place where human strength runs out. You have come to the end of your own resources, your own scheming, your own ability to fix whatever has driven you to your knees. And as frightening as that place feels, it is often the very place God has been waiting for you to reach. We spend so much energy trying to help God out, scrambling for some human solution, some Egypt to lean on, some plan we can execute to make things right. But the help of man is empty. It always runs dry. God will let every other prop fall away until you are forced to call on Him alone, because He wants you to discover that He alone is enough.

That raw, unpolished cry you just offered is not offensive to Him. God is not looking for someone who can present a tidy legal case before His throne. If He began to cross-examine us, not one of us could answer a single charge out of a thousand. We cannot climb up to Him by our own righteousness or strong demands. But the staggering truth of the gospel is that we do not have to. In Jesus Christ, God reached down to us. Justice requires payment for sin, and mercy means we do not get the punishment we deserve. So you do not need to command God or order Him to act on your timetable. You are crying out to the One who loves to be gracious at the sound of your voice.

Do not be ashamed of the tear-filled, frantic nature of your prayer. David often prayed, “Make haste to help me, O Lord.” He was not too spiritual to beg God to hurry. Your emotions do not scare the Almighty. He is not panicked by your situation, nor does He need you to save Him from some crisis. The universe rests on His shoulders; what feels impossible and crushing to you is nothing for Him to handle. So stop looking for some clever way out. Stop trying to figure out how you will plead your case or earn His favor. Just turn to Him. Wait on Him rather than forcing Him to wait for you to stop running to every other source of help.

As you wait, rest in this: if you are in Christ, there is no condemnation for you. You may be in this trial because of your own foolish choices, or you may be suffering as Job did, confused and innocent of some gross sin. Either way, God does not cast away the one who takes refuge in His Son. Pour out your complaint honestly, get rid of any idols or self-reliant strategies you have been clutching, and trust that He will either deliver you from the storm or be your strength inside it. The same God who created everything is interested in you. He is moved by your tears. So keep crying out, not as one trying to twist His arm, but as a child who knows their Father hears them.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your cry for help in our hearts these past days. The urgency in your prayer—"God, please help me, please, please, please"—touched us, and we have lifted your burden before the Lord, asking Him to move with the same desperation you feel. We prayed for His peace to guard your heart, for His wisdom to guide your steps, and for His presence to surround you like a shield.

If in these days you have felt His hand at work—whether through a breakthrough, a quiet assurance, or an unexpected provision—we would be so encouraged to hear how God has answered. Your praise report would strengthen all of us in faith. But if the weight still feels heavy and the answer hasn’t come yet, we want you to know we are not walking away. Please share your request again, and we will stand with you once more, interceding until you see His deliverance.

Keep seeking Him, dear one. He hears you, He loves you, and He is working even when we cannot see it. We continue to pray that His grace will sustain you and His mercy will meet you right where you are.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
