Beloved of All
Pleeeeaaseeeee, pray for my healrh & eyesiiighhhttt, I am scared. Please help. Thank you so much.

We hear your cry for help and the fear in your heart, and we come before the Lord together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases. Your health and sight are precious gifts from God, and we stand with you in faith, believing that He sees your distress and will move on your behalf.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." And in Jeremiah 30:17, the Lord declares, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim these promises over you today. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and His healing power is just as real now as it was when He walked the earth, touching the blind and making them see, the lame walk, and the sick whole.

We also remember the words of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." Though we are not physically with you, we join our faith with yours, believing that the Lord hears our prayers and will act according to His will.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Lord, we lift up [this dear one] to You, who is fearful and in need of Your healing touch. You see the anxiety in their heart and the pain in their body. We ask, Father, that You would stretch out Your healing hand and restore their health. Touch their eyes, Lord, and remove any affliction or impairment. Let them see Your glory and Your goodness in this situation.

We rebuke fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your presence, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even when they cannot see the outcome. Fill them with hope, Lord, and let them experience Your healing power in ways that bring glory to Your name.

We also pray for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, and give them insight into how best to care for [this dear one]. If there are steps they need to take, whether medical, spiritual, or practical, reveal those to them clearly.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would draw [this dear one] closer to You through this trial. May they come to know You more intimately as their Healer, Provider, and Comforter. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so now. For it is written, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, our Heavenly Father.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, [this dear one] is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we want to encourage you not to lose heart. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even in your fear, He is with you. We urge you to hold fast to His promises and to speak His Word over your situation. Declare healing over your body and eyes, for the Bible says that the tongue has the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), and we are called to speak life.

If you have not yet given your life to Jesus Christ, we invite you to do so today. The Bible tells us that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift, and it is only through Jesus that we can have a personal relationship with God and the assurance of eternal life. If you would like to pray to receive Christ, simply say:

"Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God and that You died for my sins. I confess that I am a sinner and ask for Your forgiveness. I invite You into my heart and life to be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. In Your name, I pray. Amen."

If you have prayed this prayer, we rejoice with you! The angels in heaven are celebrating your decision (Luke 15:10), and we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be discipled.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of healing and God’s faithfulness, such as Psalm 107:20, "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves." Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith.

We also encourage you to seek godly medical advice and care. The Lord often uses doctors and medicine as part of His healing process. Trust that He will guide you to the right people and the right treatments.

Lastly, do not isolate yourself in this time. Reach out to others who can support you, pray with you, and walk alongside you. The body of Christ is here to love and care for you, just as the Bible instructs us to "bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).

We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing that the Lord is working on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, and remember that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). You are not alone, God is with you, and so are we.

We hear the fear in your words, and we’re here with you in prayer, right now, we are lifting you up. It’s completely understandable to feel scared when your health and eyesight feel shaky. You’re not alone in this; we’re standing with you, and more importantly, God is with you in the middle of the fear.

One thing that often helps when physical symptoms loom large is to let a professional take a look. If you haven’t already, we’d gently encourage you to see an eye doctor or your primary care provider soon. Sometimes the unknown is scarier than any actual diagnosis, and having a clear picture can calm the what-ifs. While you wait for that appointment, it’s okay to tell God exactly how you feel, He’s not put off by our panic.

As we pray for your eyes and your health, we also ask for the peace that Jesus promised, the kind that holds steady even when circumstances are still uncertain. He sees you, He knows the terror, and He cares.

Let’s pray:

Jesus, we come to You with our friend who is so frightened. Thank You that You never turn away from our cries for help. Please bring calm to this racing heart and quiet the anxious thoughts. Guide the hands and minds of any doctors or specialists who examine these eyes, and give wisdom for the right next steps. We ask for healing according to Your perfect will, whether through medicine, time, or Your direct touch. In the waiting, hold our friend close, and let Your presence be more real than the fear. We trust You with every detail. Amen.

How the words you have written tremble, they come to me like a little bird fluttering in the dark, full of fright. “Help! I am scared!” Oh, I hear it; I feel it in my own bones. When the body is in trouble, and especially when the very windows of the soul, those dear eyes of yours, are clouded, it is no small thing to be afraid. You are not weak for trembling. Even the bravest saint looks at the gathering mist and says, “Lord, what is this?” So let me sit down beside you right here, in the thick of it, and speak a quiet word.

Do you know what the Lord Jesus is like? He is the Great Physician, and his practice is full of such cases as yours. He never turns a trembling patient away. One walked this earth whose shadow fell upon the sick, and they were whole. He came into a humble fisherman’s house where a fever raged, and he took the poor woman by the hand, and immediately the fever left her. That same hand is stretched out still. He knows our frame; he remembers we are dust. And his power is not a power to destroy but to heal. He does not break the bruised reed. When he says, “Fear not,” he speaks it as one who has starlight in his voice, calm and sure.

I have often thought of the tree of life that grows on either side of the river in the heavenly country, with leaves for the healing of the nations. Even now, before we reach those shores, a leaf from that tree can reach us in our sick chamber. The breeze that rustles its branches can bring a strange and holy peace into a terrified heart. Jesus is that tree. His very name is a medicine. Cry to him, poor fearful soul, and the healing leaves will fall. Not always a sudden cure, sometimes the body lingers in its weakness so that grace may be seen to be sufficient, but always a healing within, a quieting of the heart, a soothing of the panic.

And see this: your fear does not shut you out from his tenderness. It is the sick who need the physician. When you cry, “Help, I am scared,” you are speaking the very language that moves his heart. He does not stand far off, waiting for a fine, composed prayer. He hears the gasp of a drowning man. He heard blind Bartimaeus when all he could shout was, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Dear trembling soul, his ear is bent low to your whisper. Even now he is near.

Let me tell you a little secret about those fears: your Lord sprinkles “Fear nots” all through his Word as thick as daisies in a spring meadow. To the poor worm Jacob he said, “Fear not, I will help you.” To the disciples in the storm he said, “It is I; be not afraid.” And to you this very hour, in this dark night of the soul, he says, “Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” He does not wish his children to be afraid of the dark, nor of the body’s frailty, nor of what tomorrow may bring. Even if the outward man is perishing, the inward man is being renewed day by day. And what are these light afflictions, after all, when weighed against the exceeding weight of glory?

Suppose your eyesight should grow dim. That is a heavy cross, and I will not make light of it. But listen: you will lean harder on the arm that never fails. In the dark you can feel your Father’s hand. And one day, when the veil is lifted, you shall see his face without a single dimness. That will be a healing indeed, far beyond any earthly medicine. Until then, he will keep you, and his presence shall be your light.

Now, lean your head back and rest in this: the same Lord who said to the paralyzed man, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” says to you now, “My child, take courage. I am with you in the sickness and in the fear. I will not fail you nor forsake you.”

Let us pray together.

O Lord Jesus, our beloved Physician, we come to you just as we are, trembling and needy. Look upon this dear one whose eyes are full of dread. Lay your cool, quieting hand upon the fever of the soul. Speak the word, and the storm will be still. Take away this paralyzing fear, and give in its place a holy, childlike trust. If it may be, Lord, restore the health and the eyesight, for you are the same yesterday, today, and forever. But more than that, let your peace rule in the heart, until every anxious thought is brought into captivity to you. Hold your child up, and let no shadow terrify, for you are the Lord our God, the Holy One of Israel, and you have said, “Fear not, I am with you.” Into your keeping we commit body and spirit, for you have redeemed us. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve been lifting you up before the Lord these past days, asking Him to touch your body with His healing power and to quiet your heart with His perfect peace. It’s a sacred privilege to stand with you in this battle, and we haven’t stopped praying since we first read your cry for help.

If the Lord has already answered—if you’re feeling even a little stronger, if the fear has begun to lift—please share that praise with us so we can rejoice together. But if the struggle is still very real and the answer hasn’t come yet, don’t carry it alone. Post your request again as a fresh plea, and we’ll continue to storm heaven on your behalf until the healing you need breaks through.

Whatever the outcome, keep pressing into Jesus. He sees every tear, hears every sigh, and holds you close in the midst of it all. We love you, we’re still praying, and we believe with you for a miracle—in Jesus’ Name.
