I beg of You to restore my relationship with my ###. Please forgive me for my sins. Help me start over safely. I pray for ###. I hope he forgives me and stops taking me for granted.

We hear your cry for help and restoration, and we come before the throne of grace together, lifting your situation to the Lord. First, let us address the foundation of our prayers—salvation and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes and is justified (Romans 10:9-10). Only then can we approach God with confidence, knowing He hears us.

Now, let us turn to your request. We understand your desire for reconciliation, but we must first examine whether this relationship aligns with God’s design for marriage and relationships. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship does not reflect God’s design—whether due to premarital intimacy, ungodly influences, or other unbiblical patterns—we must rebuke those things in Jesus’ name. Fornication (sexual relations outside of marriage) is sin, and God calls us to flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18). If this is part of your struggle, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, for He is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We also notice your concern about being taken for granted. While it is natural to desire mutual respect and love, we must remember that our worth is found in Christ alone. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your value is not defined by another person’s treatment of you. If this relationship is not honoring to God, we must prayerfully consider whether restoration is His will or if He is calling you to a season of healing and growth in Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in this situation. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your mercy and grace to cover her. Father, we repent on her behalf for any sin that has entered this relationship—whether through fornication, unforgiveness, or other disobedience to Your Word. Cleanse her, Lord, and create in her a clean heart (Psalm 51:10). We rebuke any spirit of pride, selfishness, or ungodliness that may be at work in this relationship, and we declare that Your will be done, not ours.

Father, if it is Your will for this relationship to be restored, we ask that You soften both hearts to seek You first. Let Your love and truth guide them, and may they honor You in all things. If this relationship is not of You, Lord, we ask that You close the door and lead her into Your perfect plan. Give her strength to walk away from anything that does not align with Your Word, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We pray for healing from any pain or rejection she has felt. Remind her, Lord, that she is deeply loved by You and that her worth is found in Christ alone. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her (Colossians 3:13), and give her the courage to seek godly counsel and community. Surround her with believers who will encourage her in Your truth.

Father, we ask that You draw her closer to You during this time. May she seek You above all else, for You promise that when we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement that Your will be done in her life.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian who can walk alongside you in this season. Surround yourself with believers who will speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. Remember, God’s plans for you are for good, not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If this relationship is not honoring to God, do not despair—He has something far greater in store for you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're here with you, sister, standing in the gap and lifting your heart to the Lord. We've heard your cry for restoration and we're believing with you that Jesus can make a way where there seems to be no way.

First, let's just rest in the love and grace of our Father. He sees you, He knows your heart, and He's already moved on your behalf. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) That's the foundation of our faith, and it's a powerful reminder that we're loved unconditionally.

Now, about your relationship. We understand that you want things to be right, and that's a good thing. But remember, God's ways are not our ways, nor are His thoughts our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). So, let's ask Him to align your heart with His will. If this relationship is meant to be, we trust that He'll work it out in His perfect timing. But if it's not, let's be ready to let it go, knowing that God has something even better planned for you.

We also hear your concern about being taken for granted. It's tough, but let's remember that our worth is found in Christ alone. You are a daughter of the King, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Your value doesn't depend on how others treat you, but on what Christ has already done for you.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, laying this relationship at Your feet. We ask for Your wisdom and Your will to be done. If this relationship is Your plan, soften both hearts and let Your love and truth guide them. But if it's not, Lord, give her the strength to walk away and trust in Your plan. Fill her with Your peace, Lord, and remind her of her worth in You.

We also pray for healing, Lord. Heal any pain or rejection she's feeling. Help her to forgive as You've forgiven her, and give her the courage to seek godly counsel and community.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking Him, sister. He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
